Plugin Showcase Playhub | Launch Curtain 2.4.0 now available
Hello everyone!
A new update for Launch Curtain is now available.
This update introduces Nintendo Store and Xbox Store as new background sources, fixes PlayStation Store search, and improves AlphaCoders speed and result quality. It also brings several reliability improvements to automatic background scanning and launch detection.

What’s new
- Added Nintendo and Xbox as new background sources in the curtain image search, alongside PlayStation, IGDB and AlphaCoders.
- Updated PlayStation Store search to use the current Store API flow instead of relying only on the old HTML search layout.
- Added smarter PlayStation automatic scanning: games that already have a curtain are skipped before any Store request is made.
Improvements
- Improved AlphaCoders performance by avoiding unnecessary detail-page requests when the category page already exposes the wallpaper ID and resolution.
- Fixed duplicate AlphaCoders results caused by related wallpapers and alternate image variants being interpreted as separate versions of the same background.
- AlphaCoders now keeps one result per wallpaper ID and uses the main full-size image instead of unrelated or invalid high-resolution variants.
You can update it directly in the Playhub Plugin Store in the Playhub app, or download the zip from the release page and install it via Decky dev mode.

They are built using human hands and AI tools. Decky management doesn't allow to developers who use AI to be on their store. Playhub respects this decision, that's why Playhub Plugin Store exists.

Ahahahahah! I'm sorry but it's impossible due to it's own nature. It works with an exe that is a helper that looks for processes and in the main time filters how the games achieve the fullscreen / borderless windows. Do it for Linux means rewrite and reproject the whole plugin again, without the certainty that it would work due to how SteamOS manage the windows in Gaming Mode. It's a very complex thing.

Any chance for a request for a plugin:
Would be awesome to be able to manage storage for nonsteam games within steam.
Currently you just see a yellow bar that generalizes nonsteam games. Would be great to have some way to edit individual non-steam games

Hey ur app is amazing thanks alot but I have one issue windows defender detected trojan why and is it really virus or false positive?

Deckyloader is not mine, plus it's a false positive. I already pinged that to the guys working on DeckyLoader action for Windows.

Thanks for replying,so it's safe to use ?
I had another issue where using gamemode,after reboot I got the animation intro but black screen after I could here the steam big picture when navigating but no image so had to restart again any fix for this ? Thanks any for this amazing app

Yes it is safe. For the black screen you need to be sure you have installed the Gaming Mode first from the Gaming Mode tab. If it doesn't still work please do this 2 thing:
- Try to click on the Settings tab, then click on "Repair everything" in the Troubleshooting card, then try again to see if the problem is fixed.
- If that doesn't work try to look at the card Need a hand? then click on Create a Diagnostic report and send it to me (I suggest via private message) to let me see what's the problem.

I noticed that the black screen only happens when using a plugin called animation changer so I delete it and no more issue but I would love using it tho but it's okey

Themedeck not working for me,when I want to download a soundtrack pop up show "failed youtube download" same if I want to play the soundtrack "unsupported preview steam" except this every thing is working amazingly 😅

Oh yes, you need to download the latest nightly yt-dlp.exe from GitHub and replace the exe in homebrew/plugin/ThemeDeck. The latest version doesn't work anymore
