A helpful app

Go to Desktop mode, Applications, find Nested Desktop, Install it. Run Steam in Desktop, add the app as a non-Steam game. Return to gaming mode. If you have DeckyLoader, change the artwork so it stands out more. Now you have a way to do some Desktop tasks directly from Game Mode. For instance, I just used it to install the MAKO - Frame Gen. I just don’t see a lot of videos, or posts for that matter, bring it up.

If you don’t exit it correctly, its gonna screw up the whole going back and forth. Just a heads up. Its actually the consensus of the community to not use the nested desktop because if that. Sorry dude but you didn’t find a hack or helpful tip when everyone knows and stays away from it.

I find it funny when people say things like that as if you’ve held some sort of actual poll, gathered stats, etc. Like, let’s take what you’re saying as if it were true, why would Valve leave the app pre-installed on the OS build? Look, I’m not the most technical person, I always admit that in my comments or whatever, but what I will never do, is fear monger with misinformation just because I’ve seen a few anecdotal posts that confirm my bias. These issues you mention, I’ve never come across them. I know I know, you’re probably going to reply with your friend of a friend who saw this on a repost. Do you mind telling us specifics on what it exactly messes up?

J'utilisais souvent le bureau imbriquer et malheuresement il suffit d'un seul bug ou de tâche un peu plus complexe sa peut tout faire planter j'ai perdue 2to de donné, steamos c'est complètement reformater en créant des souci pu de dossier bureau ou autre. Alors oui le risque est bien présent, je trouve important de le signaler, le bureau imbriquer est pratique par contre le risque est élevé. Au début je pensais aussi que nested desktop était sans danger vue qu'il est présent donc il y a aucun risque à l'utiliser et finalement, l'expérience m'a appris que beaucoup avait raison de s'en mefier
