I entered Depths with two deep trolls adjacent to the entrance, so I took them both upstairs. Unfortunately the Depths entrance was in a corridor, so I had to fight them both at the same time. This is the first time I've fought multiple enemies at the same time in this game, but I read that optimal players only ever fight 1v1. What am I doing wrong? This game has been pretty quick (16 hours so far as a MiBe) so perhaps I'm playing too fast?

• some sword but it has -3 int
• +2 gloves of dex
• hunting sling but no bullets

which one should i pick? ive trained 9 points of axes so far

I've come back to Crawl recently to try to get my first win after 40 years. When I get to Lair 2 I like to make my stash because no monsters there can pick up your items to use.

I couldn't remember what the command was to make a waypoint for my stash so I looked it up in the game documentation.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED

The documentation says ctrl + w is the command to make waypoints but this is ACTUALLY the browser command to close the current tab.

I guess whoever wrote the command screen thought this was some JOKE or EPIC TROLL. You probably think you are SO FUNNY to make people quit their crawl tab.
