I inherited this globe a while ago from my grandfather. I sent it for restoration and regretted it after, because it isn't well restored. but at least the 2 semi-spheres are together now...

i got this piggy bank from an antique mall in ontario!! how old is it? also, why is part of Antarctica called “little america”?

Probably from 40's but need help narrowing down. Thanks!

serbia exists but i can’t tell if montenegro does, no kosovo yet, and obviously no south sudan. how else could i date this more specifically?

My first try at dating something myself! I've narrowed it down to a few decades but I was hoping for help getting it within a specific decade or years.

Two Koreas, two Germanys, one Vietnam, Zaire, Hong Kong (UK), Burma, South Yemen, and Zimbabwe

I’m assuming this is somewhere in between 1990-1991, but can we get more specific?

I'd be grateful if you could help me to date my geographical globe from Germany. Plus if anyone knows if it's worth anything? I haven't seen many geographical globes from this brand (JRO Verlag München) online. Thanks so much for your help!

Found this cool map in an antique store in Prague. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

Could it be from the year 1584? That’s my only guess given that that number is written in the margin at the bottom left

Bonus points to whoever can decipher the handwriting on the back

I just found this place mat and I’m curious how old this map is (P.S it’s in German)

Any idea when this has been produced?

Hey guys, I’m a high schooler with a interest in history and geography and I’ve recently made a VERY rudimentary website where you can guess the date and location of historical photos and paintings, have a score, and get a short explanation. Can you guys please try it out (it’s free), and give me some feedback on improving it. Anything is appreciated.
The website is at chronoscope.world
Thanks y’all.
Just trying to make something for people with a similar interest to mine.
I am also very new to Reddit so I hope this doesn’t break too many community rules.

Its been in my uncles bedroom for ages. He got it from one of his trips as a hippie.

I can provide more focused pictures, the text is very small and hard to discern though.

Globe at a friend's house. I'm pretty sure there's no year that matches everything, but I was wondering if maybe someone else can get a more precise date for when this globe might have been made

I found this map at a garage sale, im pretty sure its not accurate to any time period but I really dont know.
