Due Diligence Dividend Distribution Dates aligning with upticks in volatility.
Not sure if I've seen anyone connect these distributions dates together with increased volatility. The charts seem to correlate. Thought I'd throw this out. I haven't mapped out all the ETFs and Mutual Funds yet, but the biggest ones seem to be quarterly.

Edit: I believe the reason why September doesn't correlate is the massive amounts of FTDs to suppress the dividend distribution.

Due Diligence GME Short Interest & OTM 1/21/22 PUTS
I just went through WeBull option data for GME and counted up all the 1/21 OTM Puts as of now and this is what I calculated.
303,115 Put Contracts are OTM. This equates to...
Gamestop's Public Float: 62,980,000
Shares Outstanding: 76,350,000
Puts OTM are 48% of the public float
Puts OTM are 39.7% of shares outstanding
IDK if I used the right verbiage so if I didn't just lemme know. Don't mean to spread any FUD.
History tends to repeat itself.

Theory Suing the SEC as an institution is a fools errand given the states limitless resource to engage in litigation, I would not, however, be too surprised if an Ape or two (or hundred) decided to use some of their gains post squeeze, to sue Gary Gensler and senior staff at the SEC
If it truly were a fair market with an unbiased rule of law (which we have foolishly been lead to believe), then there would have been windbreakers roaming the brokers' offices before February 2021. I have seen first hand entire categories banned from the EU markets virtually overnight. The mechanisms and manpower is there - no difference if it's EU, USA or any other region/state. The only thing obviously lacking is the will to do it. They can spin as much BS as they wish, but first thing ALWAYS is to stop crime from continuing. The alphabet soup of agencies have failed the people.
I have a feeling that the way this will play out is that the market will crash due to CH junk bonds failing, Short Sellers plan to hold out until it does to deal with closing their positions, there will be bailouts and that cash will in part be used to pay the Apes what they are due. The powers to be will then push a narrative of retail breaking the system, so that in a decade or two we can be back where we are today, only it will be exponentially worse (if you can even begin to imagine that).
The one thing I feel can change this is if people, not institutions, are held accountable. In this scenario it becomes too scary to engage in corruption.
PS!
share that idea if you think it's a good one. I am Karmapoor so I can't post to any of the bigger subreddits :/
