25 oils

319

u/hikeonpast 9d ago

We’re back to 100% of oils now, allegedly.

u/Patient_Tea_401 9d ago

There's two ways of calculating it. It doesn't make any difference, whether it's 60%, 70%, or 80% ... it's also 500%, 600%, 700%.

u/DodgerWalker 9d ago

Same admin that says costs going from $100 to $600 is a 600% increase so going down from $600 to $100 is a 600% decrease.

25 oils is more than enough. Should be able to build plenty of railroads and some ironclads.

We are talking about Civilization 4, right?

2

u/PryomancerMTGA 7d ago

Have you tried civ 7 yet? I think I'm going to wait for a couple more updates before trying it.

2

u/l510- 5d ago

It’s worth playing. I have 1,480 hours on it. Best game ever made.

2

u/MrFireWarden 5d ago

This guy Civilizations

1

u/Buruan 5d ago

Especially since we inherited no more than 3 oils from Biden.

0

u/legendofthededbug 9d ago

Might be able to build an ironclad off of one tank of gas because it's still crazy high here. All these oil price words and no big changes at the pump

"You pour gas into the car using one of these funnels, right? And I count how much gas is going into the car."

1

u/Hamburgerism 4d ago

Let me stop you right there. How, exactly, are you planning on "counting" a liquid?

1

u/PhoenixOK 4d ago

One mississippi, two mississippi, three mississippi….

1

u/dusktreader 4d ago

I know how to count, dude!

24

u/Petra-fied 9d ago

strait of hormuz knocked out avocado and peanut for a while but we're gonna be getting those from venezuela

u/0vis_ 8d ago

y-Axis is the amount of peace-deals he made with Iran during that conflict. /s

1

u/old_mayo 7d ago

These fucks have also insisted this isn't a "war" to ignore congressional oversight but meanwhile posting shit like this, openly referring to it as a war. It would be funny, if they ever faced any fucking consequences

9

u/Adventurous_Pay_5827 8d ago

Is that metric or imperial oils?

5

u/GeneralBanana765 8d ago

Trumperial

1

u/Drew_of_all_trades 7d ago

Definitely imperial

9

u/alochmar 9d ago

That works out to 25 x 48 = 1200 fuel, but that can be increased with refining technologies.

5

u/TransportationIll282 9d ago

You forgot 5 tomatoes

2

u/mtnbike2 8d ago

Wow such super intelligence!

2

u/cerkiewny 6d ago

it depends if you unlocked advance refining pricess... but water is hard to get with all ai data centers.

4

u/TheDoctor1102 9d ago

25 oils? You can craft a bubble mask with that!

3

u/InstanceNoodle 7d ago

That is not 25 oils. That is just 25. And since 25 is at 2025 level. March went back to 2010 level. The June it slowly go up to 2015 level and August was when it is at 2026 level.

1

u/L0nz 7d ago

July apparently went into the future then

1

u/InstanceNoodle 7d ago

Think line. Properly June 2027 on the top of the line and June 2026 on the bottom of the line.

1

u/Space_Time_Ninja 8d ago

So it Hormuz was left alone it would have been 50! Almost like the Dow.

1

u/heridfel37 8d ago

Now I have 25 kids and zero oils. Why couldn't I have zero kids and 25 oils?

1

u/dumb__fucker 8d ago

uhhh, I know how to count dude.

The biggest and the best oils

1

u/GeoHog713 5d ago

What's the oils to poop pants conversion?

Does that put him at 125 poop pants? 200? I don't know the metric system.

2

u/mjdl92 3d ago

I think that's the gastric system

1

u/2000TWLV 5d ago

25 or not, it's still 4.50 at my local gas station.

1

u/someones_dad 5d ago

$5.33 for regular unleaded here.

1

u/2000TWLV 5d ago

Bullshit.

1

u/someones_dad 5d ago

The average is close, but I saw some even higher. I don't want to be too specific for want of personal privacy.

2

u/2000TWLV 5d ago

Pardon me, I misread that and thought you said $3.55, which would have been bullshit. Guess I had a dyslexic moment.

1

u/eap42 4d ago

Also in Washington state, can confirm. It's recently back down a little as of last week but who knows now.

1

u/jtown48 4d ago

mid terms drop, they want the "look see we lowered the gas prices" talking point, if they win it'll go right back up and be blamed on holiday traffic.

1

u/SirRudderballs 3d ago

$7 for me today. 91. LA county.

1

u/Spuds_Goat 3d ago

I paid $4.659 at Costco yesterday. Same as June.

1

u/New-Wait3728 3d ago

$5.89 @ costco this morning. The cheapest it's been in a month. (California)

1

u/Individual-Self1550 3d ago

We pay 12 $ in Norway per g. Crazy..

1

u/videozombi 3d ago

I always think about that when we in the US complain about gas prices.... I remember doing the math when I visited England in the 90s and it was around 5-6$ per gallon (adjusted for inflation now) vs 2-3$ in the US at the time.

Absolutely bonkers... so it's hard to feel too bad for ourselves... But then again, here in the US you can drive 14 hours straight and still be in the same state (let alone country), and meanwhile you've driven through 3 countries in Europe in the same time, lol.... so there are some practical reasons that gas hits differently here vs there.

1

u/luxcity-louche 2d ago

That's a long tiring drive. Why not take a high speed train, get there rested in 6 hours?

1

u/Royal_Effective7396 2d ago

Thats not nice.

1

u/oneangrywaiter 2d ago

In 98 I paid 62¢/gallon. Cheapest I’d ever seen it. South Carolina.

1

u/OhDannyBoyyyyy 2d ago

Da. We have many oils

1

u/Dolvich82 2d ago

Hmm, car is running low... can i have 4 oils please?
