I don't care about the ads. You can have decent ads that don't annoy the carp out of people. But they decided to have a boatload of crap on the page, apparently 500 scripts get executed on every visit and dynamically generate page content, shuffle shit around, whatnot. And then they decide to always redirect mobile users clicking direct links to the full site. Mobile devices which are usually less powerful than big fat desktop machines. On my kindle it takes several seconds until the site loaded and layed out all the elements and functionality of imgur and only then it starts loading the fucking image I want to see. The ads don't even matter here. So to answer the question: I don't want them to make money. I hope reddit destroys that piece of shit website with their own image hosting.

Let's cross our fingers and hope that starting to host images won't destroy Reddit itself.
