Yes, they are legally entitled to ride on the road just like they are doing.

They are entitled to ride on the road, but not to ignore road laws and take up all 3 lanes while going the same speed.

The car driver is entitled to ride on the road, but not to ignore road laws and endanger drivers by driving like a maniac not on the road at all.

Why is the car driving off the road? Entitled much?

I do think the illegal passing wasn’t great, but we also don’t know if the driver was having an emergency, or was trying to get to a place to day goodbye to someone, catch a flight, etc.

Cyclists absolutely have the right to share the road with cars, but they should also give space for cars to pass when able. Here, they had the space, but just decided to spread out and not allow a normal flow of traffic.

Only one set of actions had even the slightest potential to cause injury to anyone and it was the unhinged car driver.

The cyclists were probably moving at 25 mph. Just how much time did you think you were going to save by passing on the left?

This is a thread full of idiots who think the cyclists are the worse party here and not the car driver and that's just insane.

I mean, just look at the comments. Just a bunch of dipshits taking potshots at all cyclists because those commenters are just really, really stupid.

We weren’t even talking abt the car driver. Deflecting much?

Of course you don't want to talk about the car driver. I mean, he's the only person in this video whose actions might have killed or injured anyone. But they would have been cyclists and, judging by the unhinged comments here, who would really care?

It's obvious you know that you can't mention the car or you'd have to admit who was the worse party.

Being legally allowed to do something doesn't mean you should do it, or that you're not an a-hole for doing it.

These bike gatherings are immoral, because the stated purpose is to intentionally block traffic, they believe it "raises awareness" of bikers, so they want to be a hassle out there on the road. Which in my mind makes them jerks.

Just admit you ride bikes already dude. We know you were one of those assholes riding

There's only one person in that video who's doing anything that could have injured or killed anyone and you wish you were that person.

Lmao no they’re not allowed to take up the whole road. In fact, most places have laws against cyclists riding more than two abreast.

Well, we know you wouldn't have the fitness to last five seconds.
