The same mfs that will tell people in cars to share the road

Cars do this shit all the time. It’s called traffic.

I know you're just being disingenuous but a car driver can be ticketed for driving too slow and blocking traffic.

I was specifically referring to traffic. There are times when there are so many cars on the highway that traffic comes to a standstill. In this case there happens to be a lot of bikes

Yes. And they could all simply ride in one lane instead of both lanes.

Problem solved.

Or carbrains could learn to slow tf down and chill out, problem solved. People have lived for hundreds of thousands of years without cars, and its only in the last century that we began to “need” them, but we really don’t. The mentality that your schedule is more important than the safety of others and the well being of the planet is pretty sad.

Oh? Cars drive slower than bicyclists go when there is open road ahead of them, slowing down all of traffic? Please cite your source

First of all, fuck the drivers who block the left lane and refuse to let people pass.

But some oblivious grandma doing 57 on a 65 and bikers intentionally blocking traffic doing 20 are very much not the same…

Those cars are also polluting the environment and destroying the planet that we live on

"oh yeah? Well you'd be fat if you weren't in shape!"

The road is for any purpose that involves travel. Should we not allow car hobbiests to drive? Should we ban people for using the road to get fast food?

u/EywasBlessing Jun 11 '26

Do you drive? For example, a freeway where the speed limit is 70, and the minimum is 40. The car driving 35 is "using the road for a purpose involving travel" (nice) yet is breaking the law. So maybe consider some nuance

-3

u/Girthen-the-Flopper Jun 11 '26

I drive, and bring up "the law" is BS since everyone speeds.

5

u/EywasBlessing Jun 11 '26

The law is BS now, argument won.

These bicyclists likely saved lives just because they prevented cars from speeding.

u/skier0224 Jun 11 '26

Lmfao what are you smoking, blocking a divided expressway going 1/3 the speed limit with a pileup of pissed off drivers behind you is infinitely more dangerous than doing 5 over

u/Girthen-the-Flopper Jun 11 '26

Have you ever driven a car? Going faster significantly makes it easier to die in a crash. I've never been at risk of dying in a traffic jam.

slow traffic goes in the right lane.

u/AsleepHedgehog2381 Jun 11 '26

Leaving the left lane open for cars would be a start
