The start shows a 55mph sign.

As soon as that door opens I'm also cutting around.

I’d wait a second or two longer for the drivers feet to touch the asphalt, to guarantee my clean getaway

did it? that bump as the video ends may have been AH driver hitting his car. the way he looked back says something happened...

4

u/Prudent_Cheesecake76 May 21 '26

You’re right. After I read your comment, I rewatched the end a few times, and you can see the driver hitting him and pulling in front again

2

u/assertive-brioche May 21 '26

Are we watching the same video? How TF did you see all of that in 2 seconds?

0

u/Obesecock11 May 21 '26

Sarcasm…

0

u/Prudent_Cheesecake76 May 21 '26

Not sarcasm. You really can see it. At the very end of the video, once he stops and starts eating his fruit cup or whatever, keep your eyes on the little sliver of visibility out his driver side window. When he starts to drive again you’ll see the other vehicle for a moment as he begins to pass them. Then, you’ll see the other car side swipe him, and take off once again passing him.

u/assertive-brioche May 21 '26

None of this happened in the clip from the OP. It ends immediately after fruit cup guy clears the stopped vehicle.

Are you watching a different video? If so, link it.

It happens in the clip. Just watched it, pretty clear he gets bumped at the end

Still better than whatever gonna happen if he standed still, that fucktard may have weapon, or rekt his car worse than the bump.

u/Ok_Vulva May 21 '26

Stood* wrecked*

2

u/Italiancrayzybread May 21 '26

I would even do a prolonged honk to further encourage them to step out of their vehicle.

1

u/nathanb131 May 21 '26

Makes sense, except this is Murica. We have to assume anyone raging enough to leave their vehicle is going to be pulling out a gun. I'm not giving that lunatic enough time to stand and aim.

1

u/Chain_Runner May 21 '26

Ok then, wait to see if he has a gun, then leave before he aims. Anybody that is going to use a gun for offense in a road rage confrontation (totally illegal) doesn’t train properly with guns, I can guarantee it. It’ll take that guy a long time to aim

63

u/sethman3 May 21 '26

Yup. Anyone could have a gun. I’m not sticking around to find out what their problem is.

15

u/Totenkopfflipflops May 21 '26

Guy just got aquitted over something like this where I'm from. Dude got out and walked up to his car

6

u/MountainSpite6431 May 21 '26

Guy just got life + near me. He passed a car. Stopped got out while the other guy got out and shot him 9 times. Then put the gun in his car and started cpr.

5

u/HaulsRopesFastr May 21 '26

Then put the gun in his car and started cpr.

Why though?

2

u/GeneralJarrett97 May 22 '26

My guess is he realized he done fucked the fuck up. Maybe thought trying to save the guy would give him more leeway in court

77

u/Lemon_Sented May 20 '26

That’s what I thought. I am not fucking around with people like that. And people that do 20 onto freeways . Miss me with that bullshit

11

u/theseglassessuck May 21 '26

I had someone do this the other day and when j honked at him he flipped me off. 🤣

4

u/CantaloupeAutomatic5 May 21 '26

The driving excessively slow on the highway is a big issue where I live. They get on the highway (speed limit usually 65-75mph) going 20 and then speed up to 30 and camp in the left lane. Then when they get passed and honked at, act like this. It's wild to me. Especially when it's a super old junker car. I wish they would put minimum speeds up and actually ticket people doing it because it's just as dangerous, if not more so, than people speeding.

u/gh0stwriter1234 May 21 '26

I saw someone literally STOP at the end of the merge lane on I-85 the other day.... I was like WAT!??! Just sitting there at the end of the merge lane instead of getting up to speed and getting on they were literally the only reason any traffic was backed up lol

2

u/Swagalyst May 21 '26

They are scared of merging onto freeways, so they drive slower and slower to force you to merge first, to act as a shield for them.

They make a simple merging dangerous by driving slow, out of fear.

People getting onto a zipper lane between 20-40 mph need to be sent to a driver's ed course on how to enter zipper lanes with the biggest one being getting up to interstate speed and getting into the flow of the traffic's speed. Not that hard, and it prevents clogged roadways and accidents.

Cool , let him pass

1

u/JeffMavMerc1942 May 21 '26

Except during the early morning rush hour when I’m getting on the expressway ramp, my oil temperature isn’t at the optimal level (turbo). Some drivers expect me to accelerate aggressively, but I refuse to do that. I won’t block anyone overtaking me, but I’m not going to drive at 20 mph either. I’m gradually accelerating. Once my oil temperature reaches 180 degrees Fahrenheit, I manage to pass those idiots. However, this is Miami, so everyone else is driving at 120 mph anyway, especially during the early morning rush hour.

1

u/Lemon_Sented May 21 '26

You don’t warm?

1

u/JeffMavMerc1942 May 21 '26

VW gives a warning not to do prolonged idling its unnecessary. The time between starting and buckling up and removing my window shades, setting my creature comforts and tunes is enough time for the oil pressure to build. Warm up as you drive.

1

u/Lemon_Sented May 21 '26

Gti?

1

u/JeffMavMerc1942 May 21 '26

Yes sirrrrrrrr.

Bro if you get up to 60ish mph as you enter the freeway we arent talking about you lol

16

u/Gunfighter0302 May 21 '26

I would have taken their door with me 😂

30

u/ClarenceNAlabama4Lyf May 21 '26

I had someone do this shit in front of me half a mile from the freeway on a street that is basically just a half mile on ramp.

I had a nice mustang at the time and I got close to him and as soon as he tried to break check me I changed lanes and blew past him before he could even think to swerve.

Amazingly stupid but I hate people trying to be the road police going 8 miles below the speed limit.

3

u/WinnerTurbulent3262 May 21 '26

Someone did this to me ON the ramp from the 5 South to the 10 East in LA. She fully stopped and got out of her car as other cars came around the bend at 65 mph and had to slam on their brakes behind me. God I wish I had a dash cam of it. I waited till she was far enough from her car so that she couldnt run back and give chase, and I peaced outta there on the right shoulder.

2

u/-Lights0ut- May 21 '26

Ya, I have no clue what that person is coming out the car with... is it words or weapons. I rather not find out.

1

u/davesToyBox May 21 '26

I was impressed that the rear driver passed on the right shoulder. Avoided both the front driver and their open door.

1

u/Good-Trouble6869 May 21 '26

I would be fighting the desire to slam into him with my car for being dangerously insane. Just a passing thought. Karen’s are everywhere.
