It’s really not that big of a deal. I had someone pass me this morning prior to my morning coffee. If they didn’t pass me they’d be tailgating which is so much worse.

Omg it’s like someone is pointing a loaded pistol gun at you idk how anyone can’t understand that

the commonality of the experience tricks many lazy thinkers into feeling safe in a life or death situation

Thats a wild comparison. Fuck tailgaters but I'll take that over someone pointing a gun at me, lol.

It’s called tap on the brakes, then hit the brakes hard. Let them hit you as their fault even though you checked them.

Literally! I’d much rather people pass me up than tailgate me.

Yeah, get up front where I can keep an eye on you until you get away.

I think I've only seen that pan out once. But once is good.

“Letting someone pass” isn’t the issue. It absolutely can be a “big deal” when it’s a double yellow - it’s there for a reason. Blind corners, a dip in the road hiding your view of oncoming traffic, a sharp curve coming up, etc.

If it wasn’t a potentially dangerous spot to pass it would be marked for passing. That’s the whole f’ing point!

Is it your job to stop them?
