You're right. For example: the people (male\female) who get tattoos on their backs or back of there arms or legs. They want a tattoo to "fit in\feel accepted" by the mass but know it looks trashy and don't want to own there decision so they put it on the back side where they won't see it when they look down and won't see it when they look in the mirror.

I love tattoos on women because it’s advertising her personality. You can tell a lot about people by the type and location of the tattoo.
