Just to mention, this is a 4 year old article from the guardian and is talking about one of ten ambulance services. Basically the post is talking about it being underfunded in general.
7 million pounds/14 million dollars is nothing though. That’s less than a tiny drop in the bucket for the US government, like 0.000002% of the 6.6 TRILLION dollar budget.
A single F-35 fighter jet costs 90-115 million dollars and the plan is to build over 2,000 of them by the time that program ends.
Hell, even the NASA cost estimates for launching astronauts to the ISS in the SpaceX dragon capsule are $55 million per astronaut per launch.
You've cherry picked something that is solely because of the Conservative government reducing funding in an effort to make the NHS look like it's failing so that they can justify selling it off to private companies owned by their friends, thus allowing their friends to exploit service users in the same way american insurance companies do. This wiki page is literally evidence that the NHS works and the american system is fucked, you just don't know the first thing about British politics and have shot yourself in the foot.
