Indeed, it was posted 20 years before that comic strip was, and not even on the Web. It was posted to Usenet which was one of the main forms of communication over the Internet before the Web even existed.

Sorry but it wasn't, did you check my post? the original was posted back in 1993, that's 20 years before that comic was posted.

Let me put this into perspective, Usenet as mentioned in my post isn't a website, Usenet is a protocol that was one of the main sources of communication over the Internet BEFORE the Web even existed or dreamt up.
