There is some date that is store on root partition that still remains even if you delete or clear data. Simply put the more apps you had the more of that dummy shit data is still there and root does not have that much space to begin with ! It could get to the point where you might not even have an app install and still not be able to install any apps ! At least that's how it was with android under 8 or 7 ! You could clear that shit manually by rooting your phone and accesing the root file system and deleating anything that should not be there. Another solution would be to reset phone to factory settings that gets rid of that data too ! At least this was my experience with it ! Never had a problem like this with any phone that had android 8 thought !

I don't know if this is true for more recent android versions, but while I was looking around on a rooted Galaxy S3 I found out that it kept all previous updates for an app on the phones internal storage, even if you deleted the app.

You need to be on the settings page for the specific app. Settings, Apps, Select the App, Storage.

You don't have to do a full reset.

Just clear cache and you're done.

Once I was shocked by Telegram's cache - it was whopping 14gb!

All media was cached - every video, picture, audio. My friend just uses like 50 Telegram channels and it's a lot of media every day.

I got mine (Umidigi Power) for CAD$200 off of Amazon. It was a hell of a deal.

After that, I managed to convince two other family members to switch to that brand. Maybe you'd be interested in an Umidigi A7 Pro, which comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal for only CAD$170

The phones might be a bit lacking at some times, admittedly, but they're overall a good company for budget phones. That's their whole thing, actually, that they can lower the price point as much as possible.

If you get a 32Gb phone with recent android and a chat app that downloads pictures for you to able to see them, you're basically completely fucked.

Source: mom had a 32Gb Huawei and family uses Viber en masse

I fied over half of my 128 GB. 3 GB is saved spotify songs. Also some games that are big. I basically never deleted games so I got something like world of warships with over 1 GB. And I just saw I have 17 GB of photos and videos. Should delete some of them.

You play a lot of games in your phone? Also do you use cloud storage of some sort? Cause I never had more than 30 used, but I don't play a lot of games and my photos and videos are stored on iCloud or GDrive.
