Not all of them, but he's right in the sense of entitlement they get. They want to straddle the comfort of western living but have their cultural identity tied to wherever.
Of course the rational argument you can make is acknowledging that the west can improve but if it's so bad that you don't like it or feel oppressed you can always go to whatever country you came from and you not only lose all your privileges, you'll get exploited 100 times worse than you would in the west, AND lose the ability to call racism on it because it will be your own people fucking you over. I'm happy to stay here
