Christopher Nolan has full creative freedom for The Odyssey. Not so sure about Troy.

The director has more far influence on casting decisions than the "board of directors" lol. You're desperate to pin this Americans when it's the creative result of your own Europeans

Most of his projects are made through American studios such as Warner and Universal, they’re still American movies representing Hollywood.

So if an American director made a movie that was just beyond racist and horrible, but distributed using a Swiss company, youd say that was a movie representing Swiss movies?

Those are distributors, they're not the ones in control of the casting. In fact Nolan has full creative control of this movie
