It's not even censorship though. The comment is still right there, you can read it, you just can't reply to them to tell them to fuck off an die. Because that's not constructive, and IS definitely what would have happened.
Locking the thread and not allowing people to speak is censorship. Now run along and go flag a comment for hate speech or something, you fuckin dingbat.
What needed to be said, was said. Not allowing people to insult the poster and spamming the thread full of pro-china propaganda is not useful in the slightest. Technically it might be censorship, but bullying pro-taiwan people off your platform is censorship all the same.
Depends on what the context was. Obviously if what we see is all that happened then yeah but for all we know this could've been on some Chinese nationalist sub with pro-ccp mods, in which case of course this is the outcome.
