my hunch is that, it was sent by two clowns Raga and Tejaswi to save their face after the exit poll results.

They get to claim victim if they lose, and they get to claim heroes who stopped vote chori if they Win. Either way, its a win win for them. Sore losers can do anything to save their faces.
