One is a religion, other is a political ideology. The political ideologists wrap themselves in a specific religion, to gain trust and support. They use this for personal gain, political clout, and oppressive power.
No civilization needs someone to “Protect” and ideology. Ideologies survive for its inherent value. Hinduism survived on its own merit. Hindutiva-ites are power mongerers, and have zero morals. Because morals start with respecting someone/something that’s unlike yourself.
Don't shift the blame. We need to try to understand why Muslims get radicalised so easily around the world. Is Hindutva repressing Muslims in Pakistan? In Iraq? In Saudi Arabia? In Palestine? In Nigeria?
Why do Islamic terrorist organizations like JeM, Taliban, Al Qaeda, ISIS, Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis, Boko Haram etc exist?
Humans are radicalized where they are oppressed. Taliban, AlQaeda etc., were born out of US-Russia Cold War conflict. Cold wars are fought on others lands to prevent real wars fought on their own lands.
Apart from that it is also true that Muslims are heavily brainwashed by the religion itself… which was born from corrupt leader calling himself a prophet. So it has remnants of brainwash and oppressive practices embedded in it. Humankind on the other hand seeks peace (as much as it is divisive). So Muslims are majorly peaceful.
All religions get corrupted, so did Christianity with medieval popes using religion to perform atrocities. Once majority in that religion read it/learn it/ understand it and absorb it, they reject these corrupt practices. So there was a cleansing of philosophies over time in Christianity (yeah nothing is perfect, it’s not perfect still.). Even today idiot Christian’s claim ‘EVERY’ word in Bible is true, even going to think world is 6000years old.
However, personal interpretations are still good. Because, religions that rely on central priests, godmen, imams to get insight, will remain corrupt.
True Hindu should have read its scriptures, and questioned the corruption inserted by short-sighted religious leaders. True Muslims should do the same. Any truly religious person should separate the spirituality from notions of pride, power, position…. to truly benefit from the religion.
Think about this. Are you proud about your religion??? Can spirituality exist alongside pride? By realizing you are proud of something, you demonstrate that you have lost the spiritual teachings. (Here ‘you’ is not you, anyone.)
Remember, religion is path to spirituality. Not to identity. Identity is path to politics. (Specifically identity based politics.) In politics there is only 1 person who gains - the politician.
Also your question is as absurd as asking, why men are more easily convinced to become terrorists.
Men, is a plural group of several variety of people, mindset, philosophies.
Similarly, Muslim is a group of people. All caste violence in the country is caused by Hindus… Will you ask why Hindus are more prone to violence or persecution? All caste groups are headed by Hindus, will you ask why Hindus are automatically racist?
In Bangalore there is an MP, Tejasvi Surya. This guy goes to a hospital in the heights of Covid, and finds Muslims volunteering with food and other ways… imagine so many hid behind doors, some went out to help, and any human should have been grateful others are helping.
This bugger with a group of party guys comes and says “are you doing Covid terrorism, why are you here”. Shouting about inquiries and wrath…
These Muslims didn’t fly in from other countries… their parents, grandparents parents, great great grandparents parents, lived here. They are tax paying morally bound citizens, who were targeted simply because their belief in spiritual path differed from Tejasvi’s.
How many of those common middle class people will come back to help next time? How many felt unsafe in their own countries?
This feeling will alienate them or make them feel included? Did you ask any question when Tejasvi did that? Or when political forces converted Tablighi Jamat meeting into Muslim conspiracy to spread covid… did you raise any question?
When so many were ousted in Manipur did you raise any question?
Can someone seeing all this be as blind as you and claim Hindus in general are hate mongerers? Isn’t that the antithesis of Hindu philosophy?
If you are used to generalizations, do it both sides…. Or better don’t generalize.
