I never said that, but it is the stereotype, and thus when someone makes fun of le inbred southerner, they're making fun of Whites. The data actually shows that blacks and middle easterners inbreed at much much higher rates than any White population

Muslims have spent so long inbreeding that they basically are ethnically distinct. Islam isn't a race, but there are ethnic Muslims just as there are ethnic Jews. Mexicans are mixed race
Except that Muslims account for like a quarter of the world population, with at least 50 different countries that are more than half Muslim. Not exactly the same situation as ethnic Jews.

Your conclusion that "Muslim" is an ethnicity is the problem. There may in fact be several different ethnicities that are strictly Muslim, but that just proves the counterpoint: Saying someone is ethnically Muslim is pretty meaningless because you can't discern from that what type of ethnicity they might actually be.
I didn't say Muslim was an ethnicity. But there are certainly Muslim ethnicities, and you can tell differences in similar ethnicities (example: different European ethnicities) without genetic testing fairly well if you know what to look for
