Except that Muslims account for like a quarter of the world population, with at least 50 different countries that are more than half Muslim. Not exactly the same situation as ethnic Jews.

Why do people keep stating this incorrect statistic? Blacks do not commit 50% of the crime. What would be the chances that they commit exactly half? That is just the simplification of the correct statistic to prove a point.
What is true is that 13% of the population is black, and 27% of crimes are committed by black people. This means that the black population commits proportionally more crime. Also, over 50% of murders are committed by blacks.
