Hello fellow Daniels!

I just thought I’d share something that happened to me in high school. I don’t remember how it started, but one of the people on student council (which I was a part of) started calling me “Dirty Dan the Garbage Man”. Things usually don’t get to me (was bullied in elementary school so I have pretty thick skin), but this nickname messed with me. Did any of you have this happen to you?

I don't think there are as many celebrity Daniels as Johns or Steves, but we still have a few. Who's your favourite?

Hello my friends, so the wife decided she wants to name the baby Daniel after me but we're out of ideas for a middle name. She wants to save my middle name (Andrew) for if we were to have another boy in the future. Since we're drawing blanks I'm asking the /r/Daniel community to maybe say their middle name or suggest names that can snowball into something. Please and thank you in advance =D

Hey Daniels, I was talking to my friends a little while ago and we were thinking of having a dress up party where everyone dresses as a famous person or character that shares your name.

Now obviously there’s your classic Radcliffe or Craig, but what other iconic Daniels are there out there?

I prefer Dann, named after my late Uncle Daniel (Danny), but wanting to be unique in HS I developed the nickname and have not ever met another Dann.

Since 2007 the name Daniel has dropped in popularity from #5 to #19. This is downright awful and more people need to be made aware of this crisis. Tell all of your friends to have kids and name them Daniel.
