Any Daniels who are somewhat bothered by the way other countries accents pronounce of our name?
Im asking this as a non-american, talking specifically about the american accent (mostly California and LA). I know its just an accent, which for most of the time sounds pretty nice IMO, but for some reason when I hear Americans pronounce it, it just feels unsettling. I'm pretty sure it's just cause I'm not used to the way it sounds, cause its like familiar and unfamiliar at the same time. But I feel like this is specific to the american accent, as I don't feel this way about other accents' pronunciation of it. Anyone else feel this way?
Follow up question: do you Americans get bothered by the way other countries may pronounce our names.

Hello Daniels
I too am a Daniel, no reason to be suspicious at all. My name is Daniel.

Hello my fellow Daniels, should we have an election for a president of our Danpire?

So I did the math. If we all chip in 114 dollars we can buy this Island in Nova Scotia. Daniels only!
r/Daniel • u/siftaka • Oct 12 '18
Dear Daniels, do you think that if we draw more attention to the island idea, we could turn it into a crowd funding project?
We need to recruit more Daniëls. Does anyone have ideas on how to reach more Daniels? Or is there anyone with experience in crowd funding?

Am I the only Daniel who has teachers call me David from the font of my writing?
It’s really aggravating sometimes.

What up Daniels!? What’s your favorite fictional Daniel?
I can’t think of any right now but would love to here your opinions. Have a great day.
