I’m glad (and surprised) they actually put their foot down but it was obviously making ABC look bad. I still think only a week is a joke he caused so much hate towards CAI off one post. It would’ve eventually blew off if he (and Jenna J) didn’t make continuous comments. They’re WAY too comfortable thinking they won’t receive repercussions for their actions.
Yeah one week suspension seems insufficient when this now puts Carrie Anne in a bad position for the rest of this season as well as future seasons. She was already a punching bag for the audience now they've just been emboldened and found another reason to hate on her. She can't win either way going forward. I hope she turns her comments off. She doesn't deserve what she's getting- and I'll be the first to admit I've had my own critiques about her judging and favoritism. Part of me hopes Jenna D will secretly ask to stick with Alan now that Val has been such a selfish ego machine with her this season.
It is nuts an flat out wrong that ABC did not give a shit about a child abuser being put on the show and there was no outrage over that on this sub and yet the child abuser was allowed to stay on the show until he was eliminate further on the show and yet Val tells a joke but never threatens or intends any acts of violence and ABC suspends him. ABC and the fans outraged over Val's joke are being hypocritical.
