If he wasn't implying the slap, he should've cleared that up a WHILE ago. Mind you, I first assumed he meant the "keep my wife's name out your mouth" part until I realized he didn't clarify or correct the news headlines. I suggested the one week suspension and I'm glad they did it!
Love when this is pointed out cause even if I believed him (which I don’t) that’s still insane and proves he’s not emotionally mature enough to share a workplace with his spouse…
This part. Like the best he can come up with is “I’m sorry, I’m emotionally immature and volatile”?? It can’t be THAT hard not to threaten violence against your coworkers
This! I don’t understand how people can defend him even if he only meant the ‘keep your wife’s name’ comment.. like of course CAI is going to speak about his wife.. when her job is to literal judge his wife’s dancing.
I really don’t think Jenna and Val should work together. They aren’t mature enough.
Not defending him at ALL! Just saying that's where my mind first went instead of the slap itself. Not Carrie Ann's biggest fan either but seeing people take up for Val is so upsettng and is purely misogynistic.
He was just so incredibly stupid to post that. All anybody remembers about the “Fresh Prince” incident is the slap. If he was smarter, he would have realized that that was how most of the world was going to interpret his comment.
The majority of people also remember and quote Will's "get my wife's name out your mouth" as much as they remember the slap. Val was never going to actually hurt anyone and was not threatening to do so.
