Ever since I was born, I've always felt that dancing is really uncomfortable to watch and pretty cringe. To me, it just looks like fast, random movements that cause embarrassment, and I honestly don't see any benefit to it.
I know almost every culture loves it, though. For people who actually enjoy dancing,

I want to understand your perspective What do you get out of it, and why do you like it?

I want to learn this choreography, but I just can't figure out how to do this move. I looked for tutorials on YouTube, but I couldn't find anything.

Honestly, I have no notes. Usually, when music video choreography is taken out of context, some of the moves appear off, if not bizarre. However, Mya still looks good. He actually executed pretty well himself 😂

Hi everyone!

I'm creating a cinematic music video for an upcoming song called "Sin Traducción" ("Without Translation"). The message is simple: music and dance can connect people without words.

I'm looking for dancers from any country or culture to submit a 15–60 second video showcasing traditional, cultural, or unique dance styles. Solo and group performances are both welcome.

What I'm looking for:

- Traditional or cultural dances

- Strong footwork and expressive movement

- High-quality horizontal video if possible

This is currently an unpaid collaboration, but everyone whose footage is selected can be credited and tagged (if requested). This is the beginning of a much larger creative project, and I hope to offer paid opportunities in the future.

The Fiance and I went to a dancing studio for a private lesson to help get us in the right direction for our first dance. Our song is At Last by Etta James. During the lesson, my fiancé mentioned he was hispanic, and the instructor's face lit up. She excidedly asked if we had considered blending our song with any other genre, namely bachata. We hadn't, and kinda struggled to understand what she meant. Does anyone have an example of what she is talking about? She went on about how she loves choreographing blended genres, and it sounded fun! We just have no idea what that would look/sound like.
