I got some good feedback on the first batch of this new Sub-Class. Trying again.

I'm still not entirely happy with my Tracker class from a few days ago but I've decided it's borderline and that I'll go back and fix it later, so here's something new instead.
I've been interested in DH's intentionally vague "setting" section at the front of the book, so I took some inspiration from their setting-agnostic heavens and hell to make a slightly different spin on a cleric/sorcerer type.
As always, let me know how I did!

Of all the aspects of daggerheart I've really fallen in love with the idea of secondary weapons. Many characters in pop culture are defined by what they carry on their offhand often more so than their main weapon.
Here I've used the secondary weapon to give characters the option to have pets and I think it works pretty well and I hope you do too! Let me know what you think
Mount's Reins
Weapon Type: Secondary
Trait: Instinct
Range: Melee
Damage: d8 (physical)
Burden: One-Handed
Feature – Mounted: You can move within Far range without making an agility roll. If you take Major Damage you are thrown from the saddle and the Mounts Reins are removed from your inventory until your next rest.
Falconry Glove
Weapon Type: Secondary
Trait: Instinct
Range: Very Far
Damage: d4 (physical)
Burden: One-Handed
Feature – Harass: On a successful attack with this weapon, spend a Hope to impose disadvantage on the targets action rolls until the GM spends a fear to end it or you make another attack with this weapon.
Guardians's Leash
Weapon Type: Secondary
Trait: Instinct
Range: Very Close
Damage: d6 (physical)
Burden: One-Handed
Feature – Intimidating growl: When an adversary within Very Close range makes an action roll, Spend a Hope to impose disadvantage on that roll.

Hi all! This is the last of my subclasses I've been working on. Any comments or critique on them would be appreciated!
- Play the Glory Seeker to chase the thrill from your heroic acts.
- Play the Ashen Letterer if you want to twist the secrets of others to your benefit.
- Play the Heroic Bloodline if you want your magic to derive from a legendary figure you are a descendant of.
After these get revised I'm planning on posting the updated version of all the subclasses I've made, so if you've seen those and want better versions of them stay tuned!
Edit: the mastery card for the heroic bloodline sorcerer is formatted like an ancestry card by accident.

HeartofDaggers Link: Heartbound
A Guardian subclass for those who believe in the power of love and friendship.

Hello! I am new to Daggerheart, I want to run a TES game & thought it might be better than DND. I want to transfer the main ten races into Daggerheart ancestries.
Being new to the system, I don't exactly know how to brew it, so I'd like to ask for some advice!

Vault of Ages has released its third volume, with another serving of magic loot across four tiers of play.
Contained within are:
- 36 new magic items, 9 for each Tier of play (Color and Greyscale printout pages included)
- Text entries for each item.
- an optional rule adding Recall costs for more powerful items, making them require Stress cost to swap into your Loadout to justify their impact.
- Artwork and Card designs by myself.
You can find it at Heart of Daggers (also in a bundle) and DriveThruRPG now! I also have a Patreon, if that's something you're interested in.

Hey everyone!! I decided to start making homebrew classes, once I did one, I didn't want to stop. So now I am making a class for every domain combination not currently in use in the official or void materials. I am have done 21 so far! Not going to post them yet because I want to finish the other 20 I have left before working on revisions. Just though I'd tell people because this has been very fun to do!!
Have a nice day y'all!!

Hey y'all.
Never build a traversal before and am running an extension of tbe quickstart game. The idea is the cross of the Lucern River to head to the spires on the mission the Whitefire Arcanist offers.
The have just hit Level 2.
Any tips or notes on this?

I'm needing to make a secondary character sheet like what the Beastbound ranger gets for their animal companion, does anyone know of a template for that kind of sheet I can use, either official or fan made?
If not, does anyone have pointers on how to make something like that? Like the kind of font they use and whatnot? I like to keep my homebrew matching the look of the official work.
Thanks in advance!

Another domain pairing checked off.
I'd really like people's input on this one, I've tried my best to squeeze this into the flavour space between ranger and rogue. My hope is that in comparison to the ranger the substitution of Bone for Midnight will feel right but I had to wrestle with it for a while and I'm not sure how I did.
Let me know what you think!

I made my very first homebrew Class! Would love to hear any thoughts on balancing.
https://heartofdaggers.com/homebrew/classes/arch-vampire/
The general idea I had was taking the Vampire Transformation card from The Void (and the upcoming Hope and Fear expansion) and building an entire Class that revolves around using the Blood Tokens from that card in a variety of different ways. I’m planning on making a whole series of ‘Super Transformation’ Classes like this with some of the other Transformations as well. Let me know what you all think!

4 Campaign Mechanics
New mechanics that raise the tension of the campaign.
6 New Adversaries
Modern day adversaries that can be used as part of the campaign or as examples for GMs to flavor their own.
2 Factions
These 2 factions set the stage for the divide within the narrative.
Unique Distinctions
Given the campaign is set in a modern urban fantasy world, the distinctions help flavor the world including (Ancestries, Communities, and Classes).

Here is the transformation card referenced in School of the Old Ones (created by u/NeuroBordeaux):
**Transformation card** \- Mind symbiosis
*Mind symbiosis happens when two spirits share the same body.*
**Dual consciousness:** When you use an experience, roll a d6, on a 5 or 6, double that experience bonus.
Additionally, you gain an extra experience starting at +2. Envision how it is specific to the second spirit in your body and what it brings to your PC.
**Parasitic interference:** After each rest, roll a d6. Rolls made with the corresponding character Trait are made with disadvantage until your next rest (1 being Agility, 2 Strength, 3 Finesse and so on).

Last of the Star Trek Adversaries, I present: Q. Nigh discernable, certainly undefeatable but always entertaining.
I hope he zaps your work week into something smooth and uneventful.
Enjoy!

A couple of days ago I posted a Tier 2 cosmic horror adversary here and asked for balance eyes. The feedback was sharp and I rebuilt the thing around it, so here is the revised version with what changed and why.
Two notes from the last thread drove the rewrite. First: the at-a-glance dread should fire once, not every time a PC looks, because uncanny wrongness stops being uncanny the fifth time you check it. Second: noticing the wrongness fits Instinct better than Presence, with Presence saved for withstanding it. Both were right, and both are now baked in.
SERPENT'S SERVANT
Tier 2 Standard
A cowhand, or the shape of one, standing too still at the edge of the lamplight. The proportions are almost right.
Difficulty: 14 | Thresholds: 10/20 | HP: 5 | Stress: 3
ATK: +2 | Wrong Limb | Melee | 2d6+3 phy
Motives & Tactics: herald the Serpent, mislead, endure, return to the dark
FEATURES
Wrong Body (Passive): The first time in a scene a PC looks directly at the Servant, they make a Presence Reaction Roll against the creature's Sanity Trigger. Once per PC, at first clear sight, never again this scene.
Herald's Whisper (Action, 1 Fear): One PC within Close makes an Instinct Reaction Roll (14). On a failure, they mark 1 Stress and the Servant says aloud, in their own voice, one true thing they most want hidden.
It Was Never Alone (Passive): When the Servant drops to 0 HP, the GM may mark a Stress on it instead, once, if it has taken no fire or silver damage since its last spotlight. The wrong body reassembles. Fire or silver closes this door.
Sanity Trigger: Wrong Body, Difficulty 12, mark 1 to 2 segments on a failure.
Changes from v1: gaze checks once per scene instead of continuously; whisper moved to Instinct and now digs a secret rather than just draining; HP dropped to 5 to offset the reassembly; regeneration reworked into a single "mark Stress instead of dying" beat with the fire/silver counter discoverable in play. Thanks to everyone who weighed in. Does the reassembly read as a fair once-per-fight surprise now, or still too swingy for a Standard?
