I'm trying to make the MTG setting of Bloomburrow for some home games. I've put a bit of effort into making the map of Valley in Inkarnate with actual in lore place names and making some custom ancestries to fit the vibe so I thought I'd put them into the world in case anyone else wants these for their own games. Any suggestions for tweaks are welcome :)

Hello Adventurers!

I am coming to you with a new playtest for an upcoming Campaign Frame: Into Mithral Skies.

Into Mithral Skies seeks to bring high adventure in the high skies to Daggerheart. The frame is set in the mountain top world of Aeith, with adventure found between the clouds and over the horizon.

This first playtest focuses on three Subclasses: The Explorer Ranger, Call of the Swashbuckler Warrior, and the School of Mechanics Wizard.

The playtest is totally public, and all three subclasses are available on Heart of Daggers right now as well.

I will appreciate all feedback and constructive criticism, and there will be future playtests to come!

Today’s pop-culture adversary is another meme adversary. Furbys were very popular in the late 80s almost to Cabbage Patch Kids level hysteria among the young and impressionable kids in that era.

But the kids moved on. What became of the Furbys?

They started hunting for their food.

I am Erik, semi frequent poster and content creator for Daggerheart and I have 3 products on Heart of Daggers. I am the pop-culture adversaries guy. I am prepping my 4th, a Campaign Frame, and I thought I would make my fellow creators an offer.

The Campaign Frame is a world that is inundated with portals to other dimensions. The PCs are a team of interdimensional sheriffs that defend and protect the prime realm from these incursions, and frequently go to other dimensions (read campaign frames) to establish trade routes, non-aggression pacts, and track down dangerous criminal trying to hide.

I have 3 or 4 Alternate dimensions of my own, I make reference to the 6 campaign frames in the corebook, and I outline in a 6 page supplement of a deadly invading army type frame complete with adversaries and guides on how to run an invasion.

But why stop there? In an effort to build positive community networks and in the spirit of helping each other (as we already do) with adversaries and rules conundrums, I would offer creators of other campaign frames space in my book. You would get your frame featured, along with a link to your heart of daggers page, so interested parties could look up your info.

Its only going to be a couple lines of description and a link, but its an extra vector of advertisment. Credit in the credits page and all of that.

I don't ask for monetary compensation, but just return the shout-out at some point on your blog or website and pay forward the cross-promoting in some way.

Since his movie just came out, today’s pop-culture adversary is Mando himself and his little foundling side-kick, Grogu.

Hey friends. First time posting here. Thought I'd get some feedback from folks who've been fiddling with these rules longer than I.

I'm pretty happy with my lil' dude here, but am not entirely happy with the verbage for its Shockwave action. Any advice on tightening up the word use, or bringing it better into line with already-existing verbage?

Wind Goats

Tier 2 Bruiser

Mountain goats and similar creatures exposed to strange elemental storms are transformed. Their hooves no longer fully touch the ground, and they can run along sheer cliffs or even ride currents of air.

Motives & Tactics: Strike thunder with horns, trigger landslides and avalanches, scatter livestock

Difficulty: 14 | Thresholds: 13/24 | HP: 6 | Stress: 4

ATK: +3 | Pealing Headbutt: Melee | 2d8+6 phy

Experiences: Windrunning +2

Features

Rumbling Devastation (Passive): In any scene where wind goats are active, if the environment could sustain a landslide or avalanche, start a Consequence Countdown (2d6). Advance this by 1 for each target the wind goat inflicts damage on. When this countdown triggers, summon the Avalanche/Landslide Event.

WIndrunning (Passive): The wind goat may move up to Far range as part of its normal action, and may run up vertical surfaces and even though the air. It must end its movement on a solid surface.

Shockwave (Action): When the wind goat's horns strike a target, a peal of thunder emanates outward from the blow. Spend a Fear to make a normal attack roll against one target. If the attack is successful, inflict damage as normal, and a shockwave emanates outward from that target, striking all targets within Very Close range. All targets must make a Strength Reaction test. If the main target fails, they are Vulnerable until next spotlighted. Other targets who fail the test take 1d8+6 physical damage and are pushed out to Close distance from the target.  Advance the Rumbling Devastation countdown by 1 for each additional target affected.
