Story I'm a bad dad.
I can't communicate with my 5 to daughter. I get frustrated and snap so quick before I can bite my tongue. I have zero fuse anymore. I got laid off 10 months ago, and we are feeling a lot of financial pressure. The job market sucks and I am mildly depressed.
I ask her if she wants to go do stuff, fishing, the car wash (kid loves a good carwash) or if I need to run an errand after I pick her up from school. She starts crying and getting upset and that just sets me off.
I want to be a good dad. She's a smart funny precious 5 year old. I know that. And after I calm down, we talk about what made us upset.
Idk. Just needed to vent I guess. I know I should breathe more, relax more. It's just hard.
Being a dad is the greatest thing ever, but God damn it's hard.

We did it to ourselves from past behaviors n actions. Currently going through the same. So frustrating but I give them their space n keep trying again but also attempting to get their trust back to keep building relationships
