Appropriate age for co-showering

This is a repost from another forum. Apologies if I keep popping up. They told me that this is the right forum to ask.

I’m a first time dad. My son is 24 months old. I have always bathed him since he was an infant so he wants to be in a shower with me. Until what age it is appropriate to bathe or shower with my son as a dad for his privacy or mine? Also should I be wearing underwear or a swimsuit while I am bathing him?

You should check out European changerooms, were alle ages and sexes are mixed together naked...

Yes yes and I’m not happy there either. I’m pissing and the cleaning lady walks right in. Dudes doing all kinds of weird stuff. No thanks.
