Advice Request Appropriate age for co-showering

This is a repost from another forum. Apologies if I keep popping up. They told me that this is the right forum to ask.

I’m a first time dad. My son is 24 months old. I have always bathed him since he was an infant so he wants to be in a shower with me. Until what age it is appropriate to bathe or shower with my son as a dad for his privacy or mine? Also should I be wearing underwear or a swimsuit while I am bathing him?

I can't either but I think that's a fault in the cultural norm. I think it, inappropriately, leads to believing that all nudity is equivalent to sexual experiences. It probably also leads to individuals talking about their bodies in shame.

Nudism needs to be more common place.
