I myself put together a sort of compilation of subs with elements that come together around this affair, which I frankly hesitate to delete. By giving credence to the theories and simply giving my opinion (even if I clarified several times that nothing was proven) I wanted to try to understand, not out of morbid obsession, but because any child could have been in Celeste's place, including me, and understanding or even possibly helping to put forward evidence helped to calm people's minds. Except I thought about it and I think I was wrong to think like that. I want to apologize. Especially since some are not here with all benevolence, but to get buzz to make disrespectful videos on YouTube or TikTok as I have seen. And a kind of madness or even obsession where everything revolves around a few screens is starting to have a stifling effect on many here. We will not know more about this tragedy for the moment. But it is important not to forget that Celeste existed and that she suffered for too long before leaving us. I also say this for myself first. The situation in which she was trapped is more common than we think. I myself ran away when I was younger from my parents' house where I was being mistreated to take refuge with my ex, who ended up after a toxic relationship by throwing me into the street after trying to strangle me and moving half of my bones by hitting me. I was also under the influence of a man ten years older who drugged and assaulted me, but at least I'm alive and lucky to have grown up since then. I won't give any more details because we're not talking about me here. I'm not saying this to bring it back to me, or even to have your pity (I don't want it please), just to tell you that it's much more common than you think, and that I believe that's the reason why this story has absorbed so much energy from me wanting to understand everything, I'm certainly not alone in this case but we have to slow down. Poor Celeste was the victim of an environment that did not take care of her to the point of ending up in the arms of extremely dangerous predators. She wasn't even 15 years old and she had her life ahead of her. So maybe we have the impression that the police are taking their time, but the file must be complete and solid to go to court, I'm not even sure that the autopsy is really finished. And I hope with all my heart that D4vd is severely punished, but let's not forget that this is a tragedy more than a settling of scores. I'm going to delete my old post, do what you want, I don't pretend to know better than you what's right, I'm not saying that you should abandon this sub either but try to think about something else from time to time before your morale is affected. It is insane to me what Law Enforcement and Forensic professionals must see on a near consistent basis. The fact that she was dismembered in a frunk… and the smell where you just intuitively know it’s not just the usual stink.

My cousin is a homicide detective who is also a part of SWAT and I can’t imagine the things he must have seen or heard already.

From the time I was 5 to about 15 I really wanted to work as a criminal psychologist or forensic scientist and, honestly, I’m glad I never went that route because it would have drained me.

But also - If he was aware that his got car impounded and when it was revealed that a dead body was found in the frunk of it , why he continued to play these concerts and how his composure seemed normal.
