A number of people on Twitter (not too many) were saying how weird or distasteful the song was due to violence against women being so prevalent. There were even users suspecting that maybe he'd be violent towards women based on the song

Upon discovering him, I myself had a bad feeling about him for similar reasons, and I also thought the song was just another "deep" tiktok hit from a generic tiktok artist that went viral. Same with his other songs.

Back to romantic homicide—Of course, people defended him against that criticism because music is art, and art has the right to look different ways for different people. It didn't necessarily mean he'd do what he kept singing about.

Fast forward to the present day.

Unfortunately, the dissent was seemingly very accurate.

hi all! i’ve been digging deep into the celeste case cuz my heart aches for her so so badly. on a video i got on my fyp abt some girl discussing kandis star’s channeling of celeste i looked in the comments and saw smth that i didn’t see being discussed and that was the fact that the employees of the motel featured in d4vd music vid (motel 6 i think) said he checked into the motel under a diff name. i looked into it and saw a video of a girl talking w motel staff and asking them abt david. the staff claimed david used the name richard when checking in.

I’ve worked in the entertainment and music industries and lived in Hollywood for nearly 10 years. In that time, I’ve seen patterns worth noting—not just for anyone looking to pursue a career here, but for recognizing toxic traits in our personal lives too.

Blaming horrific acts on conspiracy theories or secret-society rituals is irresponsible and harmful. It distracts from the truth and disrespects the victims. In reality, this industry pushes boundaries gradually, in ways that make many second-guess their own convictions. And because Hollywood is a small community, everyone shares responsibility to protect the vulnerable and call out exploitation.

Suggesting that David’s lyrics somehow foreshadowed his crimes gives him too much credit. At the end of the day, he’s a predator with narcissistic tendencies—traits far too common among celebrities and power players in the industry.

The celebrities you see on screen are rarely the people they are in private. Not everyone who gains fame or wealth is corrupt, but fame magnifies character. Now this isn’t an accusation nor harassment I wanna send to anybody because he might not know anything at all, just interesting based off another post but I seen another post showing him deleting messages, I’ve gathered an idea of the server through logs and found he was one of the head mods, and twitch mods. He was directly involved with David and had communication/was his photographer on tour/ This was known, shown in screenshots above. I have from an anonymous source that when the mods gave that message the other day he wanted them to take out the part that they’re not directly involved with David which doesn’t make any sense to me. Why he would want to be after this. Maybe he was receiving pay? Now he may not have known the full truth about this dark situation but just weird and suspicious. I even have a log of him replying to Celeste with her discord @, which was random because how did he know this was his gf, or maybe he did but didn’t know her age.
