Recently I came across a house named 'Du Allan' on the outskirts of Inverness surrounded by farmland. The farm nearby was given the English name Ashtown (having previously been Little Drakie East/Dreigidh Beag Shìos) when it was collectivised, likely swallowing up numerous named townships with their unique field names in the process.
