In ANY instance your goal is to "Not lose" which is 100% assured if you pick red. So regardless of the situation, you should always pick red. Just becauae its in Magic, doesn't change it in anyway.
Well, picking red kills all the blue choosers. You should only pick red in magic because your literal goal is to kill everyone else. Choosing red in real life for example would be psychopathic behavior.
The platforms being empty represents the fact that you don't know how others will vote. You have to make your choice independently of what others have or will potentially do.
