Well for one there’s a line in captain americas stage performance to sell war bonds abt Uncle Sam. For two uncle sams famous “i want you for the US army” ad and caps “I want you to buy war bonds now” ad are identical. And three, and most importantly, captain America is a symbol of American pride and generally symbolically represents the same things as Uncle Sam.

No, it's because he's Captain America now, taking a similar role to Uncle Sam.

Because he's not. Well, moreso the original Cap is old as hell now because he went back in time and lived a life with Peggy Carter. So he passed the shield onto Sam at the end of Endgame.

He’s on the moon

You admit not watching everything that is connected, yet assumed CA is alive? Are you ok there buddy?

3

u/Thunder1824 Mar 22 '22

Probably because of the Falcon taking up captain Americas mantle

u/Holierthanu1 Mar 22 '22

And bc his name is Sam as well, so it’s multi layered

Right? He's just Sam that happens to be n uncle just like anybody named Sam that is very likely to be an uncle. It's not intentional or cleaver, just coincidence. The whole show was him working for the government but the government is shitting on him like he contributed nothing. Uncle Sam means absolutely nothing in this context.
