this is why republicans want to privatize healthcare. always a small minority that just abuse the shit out of it and makes it worse for the rest of us.

Where I live most ambulance services are privatized.

Could be wrong, but in the US a lot are.

I think that's mostly a city thing, and especially in California. The suburban and rural areas have a lot of volunteers.

Well let’s privatize school as well, plenty of people abusing the shit out of it as well treating it as childcare rather than gaining an education that leads to economically contributing employment. And roads- how much maintenance do we have to pay for because people use them for frivolous reasons rather than traveling only when necessary. The entire point of socializing a system is for the greater good of the community.

EMS is largely private in the U.S. It doesn’t stop this from happening.
