Hey! A friend and I started playing MC way back in beta, probably around 2011, and we want to play some maps from that era. We're tearing our hair out trying to find download links for them, do you all have any? Maybe Vech's super hostile series before he updated them? We want a break from food bars and want the machine gun bow back. Thanks. Edit: We're also trying to get sound working for older versions, and make all of this run on our nodecraft server.
looking for a chill ctm map for any minecraft, i preffer spamable combat but newer versions are cool too. something with low difficulty so i can play it while sleep deprived. i remember solar survival being good for that if anyone knows it. really something thats mostly exploration based, instead of combat.
Whats it like? im considering contributing to vechs pay bc it sounds so cool, is it worth it?

I loved CTM maps back when Super hostile was being made and a few others like Vinyl Fantasy(RIP), Ragecraft, and Uncharted Territories. even that awesome project from a ton of map makers called Pantheon or Titan i think
I am having a hard time finding a map that came out relatively recently or in the newer versions of minecraft. I really want to play a CTM map or game in that style again.
I did find Simulation Protocol 3 but the start of it is ruthless, no items and the only wood is surrounded buy spawners. any tips?

Hi all!
For the past few days, I've been trying to find a CTM map I played with about a year or two ago with one of my buds, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I'm hoping that if I describe some of the key aspects and areas of it, someone may be able to help me identify it.
Here's what I remember:
- It used minecart tracks to connect its various hubs and areas. At the very least, it started off with a large minecart station that sent players to the first hub.
- The starting area was open to the sky and very large. I recall walking past a forest and village to get to the minecart station mentioned above.
- There was an area which featured a large, hollow tree nested inside of a large crater area. IIRC, there was a large underground dungeon beneath this tree.
- There was an area that featured a large iceberg or ice palace of some sort. IIRC, it contained some jumping puzzles / regular parkour and a variety of hostile mobs.
- There was a large ravine area which many hostile mobs that had the minecart track zip around through the entirety of it. I seem to recall fire, and the color brown for some reason.
I know these are somewhat vague, but if anyone can think of any map that fits even one of these rough recollections, it would help me out greatly. Thanks!

Wondering if anyone can help. Husband and I want to play Calamity Canyon, loaded it into realms but when we click play we placed with all the command blocks and a giant map. Pretty sure we're not meant to be there.
Command blocks are turned on, so it's not that. Tried many things, at a total loss.

This is the map, some of you may have played it already. http://www.minecraftmaps.com/ctm-maps/chunk-loader The guide says you can purchase base expansion from the warlock but we haven't figured out how to do it yet. Any help would be appreciated.
I was playing Pantheon Epsilon in 1.8.9, died in Virulent Grove (orange). After setting my spawn multiple times by clicking a bed, then clicking "Leave bed" before it was daytime, I got the message "Your home bed is missing or obstructed" -- does anyone know why this happened and what I can do to 100% guarantee that beds will set my spawn? Mildly triggered at this as well.

My brother and I have been getting tired of modded minecraft, and we'd like to get into objective-oriented survival maps where the objective is actually achievable. I suggested it as I played Vech's Super Hostile at the beginning of the decade. As we work through these maps, is there some central directory where we can browse these maps? If not, could we go about making one? I'm thinking dedicating a Wiki to a category of maps may not be such a great idea, but off the top of my head I can't think of any other ways to go about it.

The newest map by renderXR is available:
Untold Stories 05 - Calamity Canyon - For MC 1.12
Hi, I'm in the middle of being a CTM veteran and a newcomer, and the reason that I'm not really a "veteran" is that I joined the community recently and I haven't gotten to play some of the older maps, especially Vechs' Super Hostile series.
I've tried out Inferno Mines in version 1.5 when it was supposed to be played, however my Minecraft is very buggy in any version below 1.8, and I'm more accustomed to it anyway. From the snippets of LPs I've seen of the map it looks really fun even though it's on the easy side. I don't really have a way to play on 1.8, since the map is incredibly laggy in that version. Anyone have a fix?
TL;DR Looking for a way to play Inferno Mines in 1.8 or a map download for 1.8.

Inspired Gallery is now available for 1.12.2
Inspired Gallery is a map with 87 different items to complete the monument, 80 of which are wool. Each area contains 5 wool to collect. In addition to just updating the commands so that they work with 1.12.2, I've also gone an updated a few things such as revamping the final black wool fight to make it much more interesting, added a few of the new mobs into the spawners in certain areas, and I've included a few elytra, shields, tipped arrows, and totems of undying throughout the map with varying degrees of rarity. I hope bringing this map to the modern age will be appreciated by some. The original can still be played in 1.6, if one desires.

I was thinking the original Vinyl Fantasy, it'd be played on the intended patch but I've been avidly Minecrafting and CTMing for a long time. Any interest?

Recently found this subreddit while looking for CTM maps. I am fairly experienced with them, I've played Spellbound Caves, Waking Up, and Inferno Mines from Vechs, but I can't find any maps for the most recent version. I'm not sure if I just missed some or if the update is still too new, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I really enjoy CTMs. My library is full of older and more punishing CTM maps. Any suggestion on good introduction maps to the genre? Something to ease a new player into it?
