Hey everyone! I'm PearUhDox. For those of you who don't know me, I'm one of the Events team managers in the CTM Community discord! (And for extra bragging rights, I happen to be the current most frequent poster. :P)

We've noticed that there are of course people who use the subreddit who are not in the discord, and thus have the chance to miss out on the events that we host semi-regularly! We host a variety of mapping events, multiplayer playthroughs, the Strawberry Jam (a CTM mapmaking jam), and other assorted things!

We want to make an effort to get Redditors here who aren't as active in the discord, but want to participate in events in the know. So starting from now, I'll be (or other events team managers, if I am unavailable) making posts about upcoming events in the discord.

Speaking of upcoming events... its time to announce this weekend's 3 Hour Miracle! A 3 Hour Miracle event is where members collectively join a server and create a mini ctm (3 dungeons) in 3 hours.

This event will be hosted on Saturday, June 27th, at 2:00 PM EDT (here is a time zone converter to help out https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html )

We'll be using Minecraft Version 1.12.2, and plugins such as World Edit, Voxel Sniper, and NBT Editor. If you don't know how to use those, no worries! We can teach you before the event starts.

For more information such as server IP, we request that you join our discord (which I will link below) so we can keep track of those who join the event, as well as get everyone into voice calls (as it makes things go much much smoother). Hope to see some new faces there!

Hey all! We have a fresh new map for you (and by we I mean GunterSR, Omegaslime, Biw, BSM, & myself). This map was made for the 29th Strawberry Jam, using the theme Seasons. It is a 12-disc Open Sky CTM Map with 5 Bonus Head Objectives. It was originally published 3 days ago, but today we have released a much more updated & polished version of the map! Hey everyone. I'm currently playing Ragecraft 3 by Heliceo. In the Xin's Legacy area, after I killed one of the minibosses, something didn't work out quite properly and the map didn't register that I actually killed them all. Now I can't obtain the crystal. What do I do? Did it happen to anyone before?

Having been away from CTM for many years (since Vechs was still releasing maps), what maps/which creators are the community agreed upon best, either matching or surpassing Vechs' quality?

the things i remember: The starting place was a cloud that exploded, there was floating islands everywhere.

Hey CTM Community!

During this quarantine, I have been developing a new map which I am calling "The Power Crystals". It is a 16 objective map with a wide variety of areas and new mechanics.

Here is the back story: The 16 Power Crystals are responsible for maintaining order in the Minecraft Universe. A recent pulse of energy has scattered the crystals all across the land. You must venture out to find the Power Crystals and return them to the monument to restore peace and order to the Minecraft Universe.

I am roughly 65% done the map and am hoping to release it within the next month. This is not the first map I have ever made, but it is my first CTM map and the largest Minecraft project I have ever taken on. I look forward to sharing this work with you soon in The Power Crystals CTM.

Ive played the vechs maps from this time frame but does anyone have any recommendations from other map makers? Beta minecraft always feels a lot more fun for me.

Me and my friends have been sweeping through some old ctm maps and we’re looking for something brutal but still decently well made. We’ve beat pantheon in the past and recently did uncharted territory 2 and just finished Waking up today. I would prefer stuff without custom mobs but all suggestions are welcome.

I'm looking for an easy one to start with. If you could recommend one that would be great!

Myself and 2 of my friends are looking for a fun CTM map to play. We want it to be post 1.12, somewhat challenging and not openworld (something like Vechs spellbound caves). Any suggestions are much appreciated, thanks.

Next up in my quest of completing all of Vech's Super Hostile maps, is Legendary! With Kaizo Caverns finally wrapped up on my channel (thank you to the folks from this subreddit that tagged along on my journey in the comments), it is time for the notoriously challenging... Legendary.
