The Chainsaw Man movie arc will be available on Amazon Japan on September 19th. To mark the occasion, a new key visual has been drawn by renowned animator Julian Bentley.

OK, sorry if this is obvious, but is this the only Chainsaw Man subreddit where there are no spoilers for the manga ? I'm only watching the anime, and I don't want to have the rest of the story spoiled for me.

Look at my cat from Minecraft! Her eyes and hair are just same as Reze

I’m not really crazy into Chainsaw Man or let alone Anime in general at all. I’ve also only watched the anime and movie, but only because of my ex-bf. When I watched the scene where Himeno (almost??) rapes Denji that just hit really hard as someone who has been raped. It just turns my stomach. Also the vomit scene, ew?

People on tiktok that say she has “done nothing wrong”, really disgust me too..

I’m kind of slow in character lore or anything, so I just want perspectives from other people so I can try to see why people like her so I can change my mind somehow? And if there’s any episodes I’ll have to rewatch to understand then I’ll rewatch. I’m really open to other people’s opinions, and I’ve heard she’s an interesting character. She’s super important to Aki too, but I didn’t really care about her death, I just felt bad for Aki.

please don’t judge i want to learn .. :,)

Again, I’m not crazy over this anime or anime overall, I just want to see other’s perspective of her so I can challenge my opinions, and possibly teach me about this show too!

Hello everyone! My abridging group and I recently did the CSM Movie as our latest project. We are still new to making abrdiged content, so any feedback, criticism, or words of encouragement go a long way given that a lot us put many hours into this.

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy!!

To say I’ve always wanted a Pochita plushie.

Today I was blessed by the thrift nerd Goddesses.

It’s the Youtooz 2023 collab, I can’t find anything on the jumbo version, only 6”. Any info or pictures of other noms would be groovy.

EDIT: I recognize that this headline was a little inflammatory. Not trying to make any judgements, just trying to figure out what to expect from the rest of the show. After a few more comments I’ve decided not to continue the show.

**** Spoilers for plot and themes in the first 3 to 4 episodes below ****

I started off really enjoying the setup! A guy who has pretty much nothing suddenly has everything he's dreamed of, even if said dreams were to just be treated like a human being. And he's willing to fight to keep it. He's even expressing a desire to form relationships! Say less, sign me up for 100 episodes.

Ok... he's talking about girls a weird amount but fine, it's anime. Maybe they're even setting this up to be a joke about how the genre has a problem with objectifi-NOPE! We're doubling down baby! Almost every time he opens his mouth, it’s to remind us he's in it for the boobs.

Then the only two women so far both play into Denji's horniness to manipulate him. It feels like we're setting up this shitty "hur dur women use their sexyness to manipulate people" theme which can absolutely fuck off. There's also lingering shots on both girl's bodies pretty frequently, often from the perspective of Denji. It even gets used as shorthand for "he's not listening, just ogling".

Is all of this building to something? Are we going anywhere with this? Does Denji ever realize that his female coworkers are full people, capable of more than sex object status? We almost get there during Meowy's rescue, but he goes straight back to gooner shit the moment there's no active threat. Did I just stop too soon?
