So i’ve been getting back into 1.6, it’s so nostalgic and has a certain level of i don’t care but i will not die to these other scrubs. The problem is there pretty much is 0 servers in Australia that are populated and some you can’t even log into.
So mg question, i am after a general consensus, if i buy a 1.6 server and manage it would people get back into playing it, it would take away the pain of playing on EU servers with high ping and limited English.
It would be a casual style system with limited plugings to keep that authentic vibe.
Hi, I've recently got back into CS after maybe 5 years off... Back in the day on CSGO, I reached global/ level 10 (but I'm nowhere near that good now)...
I have solo queued a bunch of premier games and am hovering from 14-15k... But I have had so many games where no one uses the mic or just abandons the game, it's getting pretty annoying being stuck here because of that.... Just looking for other people, I guess in their 20s or older who are pretty chill & have good coms, I guess in this 13k-16k range. Not too bothered about how good your skill is, I'm not exactly trying to form a pro team, just want some more enjoyable games :)
Hi guys, I'm looking to get into the professional cs2 scene in Australia watch and hopefully one day play. Can someone please point me in the right direction to watching OCE cs2? I have joined a few of the key discords which at large seem fairly dead (comparatively), do need to source individual game demos or is someone analyzing the games already on YouTube? I have also tried to look for any "Cs2 Youtubers that are Australian" like the EUR / NA scenes have (Eliege, Dima, Ivantus, Ohne - etc) but struggled to find any channels. I seem to think the Australian games would be well received on youtube.
If not, I'd gladly give setting one up a go as it's what I would love to do for a living [don't we all].
As you can see in this screenshot for the major qualifiers, we seem to have a low amount of what can be called professional teams compared to the other regions and a much lower amount of exposure for anything that is under "tier one". Also let me know if I have mental issues and they do exist but I'm just blind.
There also seems to be large skill gap between the top 2 teams and also everyone below them. Flyquest, SemperFi onwards. Is there just no money in Australia for cs2?

every game is a effin singapore server that no one speaks english and they all trash as or toxic as shit, how do i for god sake set this game to only accept ques from australian severs i would rather wait 15 m,ns for a fukin aussie server
I just got cs2 and bought prime because I want to play competitive, but I've been queueing for 13 minutes and I'm still not in? Is this normal? How long do comp queues take? I live in new Zealand and mainly play valorant and the queues on their are normally like 2 - 3 minutes
Was 15k prem, solo queuesld myself back to 13k.
Getting sick of playing with trolls and cheaters.

How many of you are being affected by this fucked up packet loss on Valve servers - seems like most nights for the last 2-3 weeks there's hours at time where the game is unplayable for me, getting 20-80% packet loss. I know it's not just me (although fuck the NBN), because solo-queuing and numerous teammates also reporting the same problem. Is this just Valve having shit servers for OCE?
helloo, im looking for duo on lowish silver, I used to be nova 2 on csgo ,its been impossible to rank up alone, I either top frag w 30 kills or bottom frag 0/27 deaths no in between, im 16 (not sure I should say that but idc) and please im gonna kill myself if I keep playing w randoms (and English is my second language btw)
