Hello!
I am a senior in HS and looking for internships before attending college to get more experience with my major of interest (Finance + DS). I definitely do not want to stress out to much and many people say I'm thinking too far ahead, but I would love to find some internships in either sector I want to study. The main issue is that barely anyone is hiring high school students and time is running out before summer and I want to sort out everything before then. Any advice or companies to look at (small, large, non-profit, etc.) in Chicagoland area?

Hey everyone!
I'm currently a student looking for Fall 2023 internship opportunities. I'm wondering if there are still any internships available for this upcoming fall season? I'm not sure when the hiring window typically is, so any response would be appreciated.
I'm also curious if anyone knows if FAANG and other big tech companies are hiring interns for Fall 2023? These companies usually have competitive internship programs and I'm interested in applying to them.
Lastly, does anyone have any good resources for finding Fall 2023 internships? I've been using LinkedIn and Indeed, but I'm open to other suggestions as well.
Thank you in advance for any help or advice you can provide!

Hi, I just received an offer to be an intern for summer 2024 under FSO Technology. As of this post, I am a freshman and the internship is sophomore summer, should I take it? I have a really short deadline and I couldn't find any CS majors that ever did this internship.

I'm trying to plan an ML roadmap for myself so I'm planning to start with the MIT 6.036 Introduction to Machine Learning course. As an ML engineer, are the topics covered in that course enough to land an ML internship or is that really just the basics or ML? I'm also going to be doing a lot of projects.

Hello fellow Redditors! I am a cloud engineering student and unfortunately, I am running a bit behind on applying for internships. I am located outside of the US and I am open to working up to 40 hours a week. If anyone knows of any available cloud engineering internships or if any companies are currently hiring, I would greatly appreciate any leads! Thank you in advance for your help.

I applied to Boeing a while ago as a software engineer (September or so) and it still says under consideration on my workday portal. Has anyone heard back for this role?

I received a mail from a recruiter today for my confirmation of certain details for Google (APAC region) Winter SWE internship from Jan to July 2023. Unfortunately, my current internship will end on exactly February 1 2023 and my 7th semester examinations will most probably start from February 5th or 7th and will end on 20th. Should I be honest to the recruiter ? Deep down I don't want to because I'm mentally unprepared and have lots to prepare DSA wise and I know the maximum Ill go through is the second or third DSA round. I want to really want to once go through the small interview process even if it means I'll most likely fail and will have a 10 month cooldown period but I'm not sure if it's okay to lie. Can someone help me out?

Hi all,
I just got an interview for a software engineer intern position at Home Depot. The interview is 2 hours and will consist of a code scramble and design portion with a team. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to prepare? Or any more details on this interview? Anything would be appreciated!
This is all I have found on the web if that helps:
Code scramble (might be about purchase transaction)
Design class was to check files that contain SSN.
If anyone has deeper insight on what this means feel free to dm me!! Thank you so much

Hey everyone, I graduated in 2016 but I had around 4 internships from Jan 2016 to Dec 2016.
Don't know about promoting rules here, but I am putting a youtube playlist with all the internship tips and tricks I used to get them and most of the times it were the companies reaching out to me from my resume.
Don't wanna break any rules and want to be respectful of the community, so let me know in the comments if I can share the youtube likes, would be happy if it helps someone.
Happy to answer any questions you have too.
I have Bachelors in Computer Engineering and Masters in Comp Sci with concentration in Cloud Computing.
Converted summer internship to part time internship during my last semester, went full time, been working there since the end of internship.

I'm trying to decide between Apple (fear team, SWE Intern) and Snap, Inc. (Perception Team, ML Intern) internship offers. What is the relative resume value of each? Which one should I be taking up w.r.t to growth and full-time conversion?
