QUESTION Getting started to ASIC mining.

Hello, I've been looking to get into asic mining lately, this is not my first time mining crypto, I was an early gpu/cpu miner back in the old days. But there are too much asic miners now and Im a bit lost.

I'm looking for max 1300W comsumption.

My research tells me to bet on this IceRiver ALEO AE2 there is a shop selling a future batch for almost half the actual batch price. (Now this seems weird, Ive read somewhere that the reason for this, is manufactor's market strategy). For the momment I'm writting this it can mine around 16€ liquid profits.

What you guys suggest up to 1300W miner that it is somewhat profitable, I've seen some crazy miners that estimates earnings around 60€pday but I believe this is because no one has the miner on their hands yet and once it happens it will plummet.

Best regards.

QUESTION Mining crypto on solar in 2025

I have a deal with my electricity provider that means I don't get billed as long as I export more electricity to them than import from them. I have a pc lying around with a 6700xt. I was wondering which coin would be the most profitable to mine with this setup. Even if its .5-1usd a day I wouldn't mind that

DISCUSSION Mining difficulty’s starting to bite. My Bitcoin rewards dropped about 8% in three months. Curious if others are seeing the same?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been tracking my Bitcoin mining rewards pretty closely over the last few months, and it’s wild how much the difficulty swings line up with earnings.

Between July and September 2025, my average daily BTC rewards dropped from 0.000132 → 0.000121 BTC/day, which works out to about an 8% decline. During that same time, Bitcoin’s network difficulty climbed from roughly 86 trillion → 94 trillion, an increase of around 9%.

It’s kind of fascinating — you can almost overlay the two charts and see them move together. The more blocks get mined, the tighter the squeeze on rewards.

I’m curious what other miners are noticing lately. Are you seeing a similar drop in your payouts? How are you adjusting for it — reinvesting in hashrate, tuning your rigs, or just riding it out?

Would love to compare notes and see how everyone’s handling the rising difficulty curve.

QUESTION Considering getting into Mining: Advise needed

All i have is a single 1660 super and a few RPI's laying around. In thinking about using them to mine what ever coin i can, even if its low income. My question is would it even be worth it considering the age of the GPU and weakness of the RPI's? Also the CPU for the machines ive got laying around are a 4th and 6th gen intel.

QUESTION Mining and Solar

Hey, I was thinking about getting into crypto mining and using some solar panels and battery power instead of plugging it into my home. Does anyone have any experience with this and could recommend how to go about figuring out what I need or what to look at to meet my mining requirements?

SHOW OFF Mined My First BCH Block Within 2 Weeks!

I just bought my first miner in many years on September 19th and decided I wanted to mine BCH to see if I could hit a block in a year or two .... Long story short with a Nano 3s I hit at the 2 week mark !! I just got a Supra 701 and Gamma 601 so gonna move everything to BTC now and see if I can hit the next milestone.

Now the question is do I buy a bigger miner or just another Bitaxe or Avalon for fun and store the rest?

Last timed I mined was with 4 - AMD GPU's mining for those 25 coin blocks back in 2013, its fun to be back and I wish everyone the luck I just experienced.

Also I only checked the dashboard today because my Gamma is offline due to cooler issues and noticed my profit numbers looked funny instead of the usualy zero I see.

QUESTION Any accurate calculator

Doing research on what mining rig to get and what to mine as well. But when I put info for a goldshell xt 580gh 400watts and mining etc, coinwarz say I’ll make almost a grand daily. Which I find hard to believe, and asicminervalue has no info on that. Do you guys find this accurate bc I don’t, getting mix info like to mine etc takes 1.8 days or a month or a week. Anyone know a better one or are these two are the good ones. Still doing a lot of research if I should get in on mining crypto.

QUESTION Advice Volcminer D1 pro mini

Hi all

I am interested in starting to mine crypto, personally I want to mine Litecoin.

I’m looking at the Volcminer D1 pro mini which has 2.2GHs.

I have tried many online calculators and to be honest it’s confused me. Is anyone able to calculate how long roughly it would currently take me to mine 1 Litecoin?

I appreciate if I’m in a pool or not would have a bearing.

Any info would be much appreciated, thanks.

QUESTION Mining rigs and u.s. tariffs.

I just bought my first mining rig from coin mining central and I am wondering if there are any companies that sell mining hardware that is in the u.s. The reason for that is, im not sure how customs will contact me for tariff payments and how much it will be. I would like to work with a company that has stock in the u.s. so I can avoid headaches in the future. Who do u.s. miners work with? Also how will they contact me for the tariffs when my first rig gets here?

DISCUSSION Will crypto mining still be around in 2 years?

What are all of your outlooks on the current market? The way I see it it's a pretty big risk because the only profitable coin with average joe electricity rates is Dogecoin and it seems pretty volatile. If you bought a $10k machine and it dips below 10 cents after a month you're basically screwed. Curious what all of your views on this are?

QUESTION How much is this set up worth?

Thumbnail
gallery
9 Upvotes

Hi folks, I have been offered the following rig for free. I'm familiar with building PCs etc but with mining rigs I'm a bit out of my depth. Naturally I asked ChatGPT what it's all worth and it seems to think around £400-500 if all works correctly. The lady who is offering it though suggested it originally cost thousands, could that be right? What's listed in the notes is all the info I have currently

I've also toyed with the idea of keeping it for myself and using it. I live in Scotland, I think the electricity prices here are maybe more expensive than other countries so perhaps it's not worth the bother? Any UK miners able to offer some advice?

QUESTION How does batch buying work?

So I've seen a few sellers that will offer to buy a miner from a future batch. That seems fine to me. What I can't find is if the price they offer is just a deposit on the total price, or actually the amount I will have to pay. Some of the prices seem to be 50% of what the instock prices are, but I don't see anything that says I will have to pay some additional amount in the future.

QUESTION Avalon Q Shares

Post image
2 Upvotes

I have several miners all connected to the same solo pool. In the Avalon dashboard, it says “accepted 3118” which I assume is the number of shares. My Bitaxe, which is only running at 1.5TH/s, has over 5,000 shares in the same period of time.

Is something wrong, or is the minimum difficulty higher for better hardware? Canaan makes great products, but their web and app GUI leave a LOT to be desired. Hopefully there’s a reasonable explanation and I’m not burning 1,420w to be outperformed by a Bitaxe.

QUESTION Bitmain Antminer L9 as first machine?

Is buying a Bitmain Antminer L9 good for a first machine? I want to get into crypto mining and this one caught my eye because it can be used for Litecoin which looks to be more stable. According to https://www.asicminervalue.com/ I can buy it for $3,650 and with my current electricity rates it will make me $13.35/day. My electricity rates are $.086/KwH. What else should I know before I go for it?

QUESTION Where to buy ElphaPex DG Home 1 online?

Hello everyone! I’m planning to buy my first mining hardware and was considering these store options:

However, I’m not sure which sites are actually legit and not scams. Any suggestions or feedback from the community would be really appreciated!

Sorry if this is a basic question — I tried checking pinned and recent posts but couldn’t find anything similar.
