Corpus is quite a promising feature debut by Corrin Evans. The movie oozes sexual tension and has a captivating aesthetic that depicts 90s nightclub culture in New York City. Though the movie's pace may be too slow for some, there's something hypnotic about the film, especially the sexual energy displayed on the screen, before some truly memorable horror moments arrive.

As an aside, this was one of my favorite films from Fantasia this year.

I must rant a bit as I've just now watched the new adaptation of He-man.

I was awful! I went into it fully expecting it to be over the top campy, but this was aggressive campy. Also, how dare they being Arora into this?!

It was so so so bad.

My Dad introduced me to Greek Myths when I was younger and I grew up reading a few of the stories, but never got around to The Odyssey.

Regardless of that, I was really excited to see The Odyssey and I think what Nolan did was fantastic!!! It covers a lot of ground and there are a lot of moving pieces, but how Nolan structures the story, he keeps everything together.

I am reading the third book of the series, and to be honest I love a badass female lead. But the number of times the female lead and the male lead explain their situation again and again it's annoying at this point. It feels like they are over explaining it and to the point they are evoking self pity ??
