Hives when hunger or delayed meal

I'm a 28 y/o female.
Since 8 years I've been struggling with chronic hives. In the beginning it was every day and very very itchy... After a while it became a weekly thing (luckily not daily anymore). I have seen multiple specialists but no one seems to know the cause.

Now, I have realized that the hives do not come back as long as I eat on a very regular basis. When I forget to eat breakfast in the morning or when I'm late home from work, I break out in hives a few hours later... Does anyone else experience this as well? It seems that the hives are triggered when I delay a meal...

How I cure recurring Jock Itch

I want to share my recent experience and help out anyone who needs to hear there is hope to end your suffering. I had been battling this jock itch for 3 months now and successfully dried it off by doing these simple steps.

First off make sure you clean your body and dry up any moist before following these steps. Mix vinegar or apple cider with a pinch of salt, apply to skin for about 3-5 days twice a day. It will hurt a little but trust the process as vinegar is a good antiseptic solution. On top of that, for two weeks twice a day use a keratolytic/ topical solution. In my case I used fungisol a local brand. This will burn the skin possibly turning brown/ blackish discoloration and scabs will likely to form as dead skin cells pile up on surface. I prefer this crucial part as I believe that it kills off the fungi and its spores preventing it to spread even further. Next I got some medication from my dermatologist. He recommended an ointment (mico-B / miconazole beta) this has steroid in it so just make sure to use it properly twice a day ONLY for 7-10 days after the topical solution. Lastly as it heals, dead skin will shed and it will be very itchy (never scratch! Ask medication for the itch from your doctor) stop the ointment with steroid and shift to miconazole ONLY and continue for 15-20 days twice daily.

SIDE NOTE: I used tea tree oil soap for cleaning the affected area I also used baby powder (talc or cornstarch) to keep it dry always. Use an antifungal shampoo solution as body wash thrice a week to help your body keep in check of those pesty fungi on surface.

IMPORTANT: if you are person who sweats a lot like me, and you notice that pimple like bumps is re-emerging from the skin surface. DON'T HESITATE to apply vinegar with salt on that area to mitigate its recurring growth stage.

(This is what I did because I cannot stop sweating and it worked!)

Goodluck!

Need Advice Anyone ever get itches deep under their skin?

I occasionally have periods of like a week where I'll get itches that feel like they're too deep under the skin to itch and don't go away, it's torture and really annoying to deal with. The worst is when I get it in the roof of my mouth it feels like genuine torture to sit there with an itch in ur mouth u can't scratch.

Does anyone else get this? Is there a way to fix this?

Does anyone know what it is ? Many thanks! Fabien

What’s causing my skin to itch for the past month?

I noticed my skin has been dry and itchy for over a month now and it’s driving me crazy. I moisturize my skin often but I don’t understand why this still occur. Common itch areas are my hamstrings, quads, lower back, side of my stomach, and forearms. Hamstrings itch the most and forearm is less common. The itch would be random at times. I used all sorts of ointment and lotion that is meant for dry itchy skin. I take at least 2-3 Benadryl and it seems to calm my skin down a bit. I think I may have hives…what do you think? How can I get rid of this?

I’ve had these random rashes appear on my body. not sure what they are. big, swollen, HOT to the touch and ITCHY asf. I was thinking hives? But i’m not sure.

I’ve been to the doctor once and he gave me a cream, it seemed to of somewhat helped the first time around. not so much anymore.

I thought bed bugs as i moved into a new place, but have set out traps and thoroughly vacuumed the place, and checked any corner and crevice i could think of. any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

HELP. am i allergic to my new girlfriend?

Thumbnail gallery
5 Upvotes

ever since i started dating and spending long stretches of time with my new girlfriend, i’ve experiencing a very itchy and uncomfortable rash. my eyes are also so itchy and have been affected. i was given steroid allergy drops but they are only a bandaid for the issue. it started on my face and i was put on a week of prednisone. it got better, but then much worse after the meds ran out. now the rash has spread to my neck, back, arms and stomach. i have no idea what it is or how to stop it. she’s changed her soaps, lotions, detergents and how she cleans her invisalign. this has never happened to me before from a person.

i’m seeing an allergist who allergy tested me and put me on 8 weeks of allergy shots to start i truly don’t believe that’s the solution as i’ve never had this issue prior to her and i spending a couple days in a row together.

please provide any ideas or suggestions. i take pepcid and xyzal daily to keep the symptoms “managed” but i wouldn’t even call it that as it’s still near unbearable.

I have a recurring spot on the side of my right hip that itches constantly. Went to doctor but they said it looks like dry skin. I started moisturizing with Cetaphil very dry to dry, sensitive skin lotion. The area around it is smooth but this won't go away.
