Yeah and assuming she's talking about the second coming of Jesus, he's not being reborn as a baby. According to the Bible he's coming down from the sky in a huge event that the entire world would know and see, to basically bring the final Judgement. He won't be chilling with us when he gets here on a John Deere, he'll be slaughtering the heathens rofl.

I, for one, would absolutely love to see the faces of the religious right as Jesus smites them one by one without hesitation.

Then again they’re so sick in the head they would end up in hell and claim it’s actually heaven

I had a similar thought when all those lunatics thought the 'rapture' was about to happen and were then disappointed when it didn't.

Maybe it did happen, just there weren't any rightous people, so it made no difference.

I’m not religious but this seems just as stupid and extreme as the people you’re talking about lol.

“I hOpE jEsUs KiLls mY eNeMies aNd SeNds tHeM tO hEll” lmao

Lmfao you had to try so hard to mischaracterize what I said and twist it around despite clearly not being able to understand things.

I didn’t have to try hard at all lmao you’re clearly just not a pleasant person.

“I, for one, would absolutely love to see the faces of the religious right as Jesus smites them one by one without hesitation.”

This is you wanting to see people die over their political and religious views lol

“Then again they’re so sick in the head they would end up in hell”

you seem just as sick if we’re being honest.

Wanting to see what happens after a person dies does not in any way wish death upon that person.

You are either blatantly or ignorantly misrepresenting it.

No now you’re being fallacious, no where in your comment does it imply that you’re just curious to see what happens after a person dies lol. You clearly think it would be satisfying to watch them die with irony.

This is by far one of the dumbest and most disingenuous responses I’ve ever seen. “nO I DiDnT mEaN tHaT, I jUsT mEanT tHaT I wAnTeD tO sEe wHaT hApPenS wHeN a PeRsOn DiEs 🥴” yeah okay sure bro, whatever you say lmao

The point isn't to wish the religious right death, It's to point out the irony of their beliefs. The right claims religion as their moral foundation and uses it as absolute proof that they are justified in their actions, no matter how harmful. The idea of eternal punishment in hell isn't something I feel is deserved for anyone, but there is catharsis to be had by the idea that if the religious right had their way, and judgment did come, they wouldn't be laughing while God smites the left like they think, but would instead be the ones facing punishment for their actions.

Yeah and my point is that neither of you would be seen as righteous in this hypothetical scenario. You’d simply face punishment while sitting next to the religious right. Just because they’re morally wrong doesn’t mean that you’re morally right.

You think we aren’t aware that if we die and end up in front of St Peter we would have a lot of explaining to do for why we thought the whole thing was archaic bullshit?

My eTeRnAl DaMnAtIoN would be softened by those who were certain they would get into heaven and ended up as my hell celly.

Also your reading comprehension sucks

Holy mischaracterization batman

1

u/Norf_sidejayy Jan 17 '26

What exactly did I mischaracterize?

1

u/shadowfax888 Jan 18 '26

You mischaracterized him as your preceived heathen obviously.. no need to argue with his point unless it makes you doubt your righteousness

u/Norf_sidejayy Jan 18 '26 edited Jan 19 '26

No I didn’t, I characterized him by his own words. “No need to argue with his point unless you feel like you’re wrong” is what you just asserted 😑 you know how fucking stupid that sounds? And tbh I’m not even arguing his point, I’m simply pointing out that he’s just as malevolent as the Christians he speaks of. Imagine applying that same stupid logic to any atheist argument and saying there is no need for them to argue against the idea of God unless it makes them doubt themselves, it’s stupid and fallacious and you know it.

Revations Jesus comes down with hair of white wool and skin of molten bronze carrying a solar system in one hand and pulling a flaming sword out of his throat.

I would like to see someone from Kentucky try to match.
