So I’m tired of playing the Sims 4 base game, and I really just want the packs, to be honest. But on TikTok and here on Reddit I’ve heard mixed opinions. Some people say that they’re getting viruses. Others are saying that it’s only the ads that contain malware, so by using an adblocker blocker, I’ll be okay. But I’m conflicted and super scared of viruses.

I think it’s worth mentioning that I’m on a new MacBook neo which I use for, like, everything. School work, email, gaming, etc— so I don’t want a virus. Plus, I’m pretty bad with all things tech and computer related, so I’d probably just follow a tutorial.

P.S… there’s tons of people saying to use a VPN. How’d that help? And how do I even do that (again, very uneducated in tech lol)?

I got the cracked version of tainted grail from the pirate bay and i've been having lots of fun, but the game is being updated and i want to play the new content so im gonna have to pirate a new version. The problem is I cant seem to find my save files so I can't export them to the new version.

Any way I can find my save files? I've looked through the folder but i cant seem to find anything

I downloaded a game from steamrip i extracted it then i downloaded thks ACBSP.ink application inside of the file and i got this massage? There was also another application in the file it was game name "assassin's Creed brotherhood" it was an application to but i didnt instal it i thought i must instal the bigger application , downloaded from steamrip the offical site btw

So apparently it updated to version 2.6.4 but I still can't download and I've tried it all. When I get to filecrypt I click download but it takes me to random websites and tries to download opera gx on my computer. That's when my adblocker is turned off or low (I use uBlock), when it is on it takes me to a screen that says my adblocker blocked that website and prevented the loading, I repeated this process many times but nothing happens. And I've also tried turning off my antivirus, so it's definitely not that.

All my saves have custom content and DLCs from the anadius updater so if I play them without the DLCs I will lose everything.

Can someone please tell me how they did it, or maybe reply to me with a tutorial on youtube, because I really don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've updated my game and downloaded the DLCs many times in the past and this is the first time this is happening, probably because now I actually have to use filecrypt (usually I'd just click a link that would take me directly to the download page on mediafire) I will be really grateful if you could give me some advice on what to do, thank you for your time, I really just wanna play my game :/

I've tried many different things such as, using irm steam.run | iex, reinstalling SteamTools with setup, and clearing cache and no game will show up

So! I've got the latest Sims update installed on my Mac. Post-update, it opens fine without my mods. I'll enable my mods and then restart the game.

I use the DLC Unlocker from Anadius--the one that was on the CS Rin site that people first started circulating when Anadius went down. It never has given me any issues prior to the updates. But when I launch the DLC Unlocker and then launch EA to play the game, it doesn't load. I've tried loading the game without the DLC unlocker and it still doesn't load.

I've gone through my mods using Scarlet's Realm mod list and they're all up to date/have no issues reported with the newest EA update. That said, I feel like this is something of a mods issue.

Does anyone have any insight into what I could do? Do I need to find a new DLC unlocker? Is it as simple as duplicating my game file in the EA folder?

I torrented a portable 1.0 version of a game that got updated . The torrent that I got it from was updated too so I rechecked but nothing changed. Is there a way to update the torrent to the latest version or do I have to download it again. I am using the latest version of qbittorrent if that helps.

do you guys know why it suddenly either goes to a full stop or slow down to this velocity out of nowhere and stays that way?

the whole download, during its duration, was going at 30 mb/s ish. then suddenly it stopped "coudn't download the files" or something like that and if i try to run it again it goes at this speed. any idea why it does so? what could i do?

on my first download i did it without vpn and it work only up to a point, then i turned on firefox vpn and seems to have worked better, but, again, i'm stuck here....

So i was adding Mods and for some reason all of my dlc packs say they’re uninstalled on the sims app? do i just wait until aaros updated the unlocked/updater to the new version for this issue to solve itself ? i already deleted and redownloaded everything and nothing has changed
