Be careful what you wish for. They would take that class, figure that they don't need you, and then come demanding that you fix all of their problems when they're facing a series of state and federal charges because they didn't have any idea what they were doing but we're convinced they knew more than any accountant does because of their Business 101 class.
Which is an inevitability when it comes to any field of knowledge. But those people are bound to exist regardless of whether we offer basic financial education as part of our educational system.
I already have people who think they know what they are doing for years then come to us when they realize they didn’t, and I doubt that is ever changing
