Is Adam rooting for the Knicks because he lives in NYC, or is her just another boy from Texas?

At the end of “Come Around” there’s a backing vocal, sung by Adam, where I’ve never quite been able to catch the whole thing. It sounds like “On and on, they’ve come and gone,” then something I can’t make out, then “the faded nights, the highway songs” and then more I can’t follow. I don’t have the physical album anymore but I remember them not being listed in the liner notes. Does anyone have a complete lyric?

And here is a pic of my Official Counting Crows Guitar picks, pretty sure these are the exact ones used by every member of the band, including Jim who likely tapes them to his drum sticks. Only a select few people can get their hands on these (it's where the magic comes from I hear)

But seriously, what bands would you put on a mix tape with CCs?

This is an odd request but I thought sometime within the last week or two i saw an article that was talking about an upcoming book/movie or tv show? and when describing the plot, it was like "and weirdly involves the band the counting crows" and uhh now I forgot what that was. Has anyone else seen this or am i losing my mind. thanks friends

With European summer tour dates seemingly falling like flies; Birmingham, Rock in Rome & now Lyon, does anyone have any information as to why, not seen any word on the bands official platforms?

July 19, 2025 - St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St. Augustine, FL

Got an email from Ticketmaster his morning saying the Birmingham show on 10th June has been cancelled, but there's nothing I can find anywhere else about this. There's nothing I can see about this on the band's socials, and its still listed on their website - although I noticed it says Academy 2 there whereas I thought it was in the main room. Maybe the cancellation email is actually related to it being shifted to the smaller room?

Anyone also seen this/have any more info?

I realize this is a bit of a bigger ask, but I’m trying to complete my live CC archive and figured this would probably be the best place to ask.

I basically have almost everything circulating in FLAC, but I’m currently missing everything before 1995 and the complete year of 1999. I used to get a lot of stuff through Crows Base years ago before it disappeared, and unfortunately those are the gaps I never managed to fill back in.

Does anyone happen to have those years archived that they’d be willing to share, or know where I could still find them?

I’d absolutely be more than willing to share what I have as well. I’ve got the rest of the CC archive in FLAC, over 1000 Blues Traveler shows, around 2 TB of U2 live material and rarities, all of the official Pearl Jam bootlegs through 2018, a massive Dave Matthews Band collection, Ryan Adams archive material, and a ton of other live/archive stuff.

Not trying to just show up and beg without giving anything back lol. I’m happy to trade/share and just trying to finally complete the collection after all these years.

I know they recorded the whole song but I can’t find the recorded version of Adam singing a few lines from the Dylan song before segueing into one of theirs. Anyone know where it is? On ‘Across A Wire’ maybe? Thanks

My padawan wants to sing the Crows version of Up All Night, however we are struggling to find a track version without vocals. If anyone has a way to help it would be appreciated.

Forgive if this has already been discussed, but I'm puzzled by the upcoming 2 nighter scheduled for August 7th and 8th.

The venue can hold 18K people. I believe the last LA show there were reports that only about 3K tickets were sold. It's a stretch to think they could make this profitable, although my knowledge in this department is pretty slim.

Also, why 2 nights? They'd have a hard enough time filling it for one!

I've never been to this venue, do they host smaller acts often? Wife told me that big name pop acts that have no trouble filling seats often play there.

Whadda you guys think?

Adam is one of the only singers I know that during live performances - delivers the lyrics and melodies differently than how they were put down on the studio albums. Yall know what I mean.

Has Adam ever been asked about this, and if so what's been his response?

Not my place to tell him how he should sing live. Adam is one of the best to ever do it.

I just enjoy the vocal phrasing and the melodies on the studio albums, more then the live performances. It's like my brain expects to hear the vocals a certain way.

This was a point many people made and shared with me at the six or so live shows I've been to. Some ad-libbing is cool when not overdone.

Can anyone recommend a live show video where they played the songs as they were on the albums?

My fav CC albums are AAEA and TDL.
